Do Taiwanese understood what was the differences of F15 and F18? By the way, Malaysia FA18 was the older variant brought at least 20 years ago, but F15SG is a new variant built with special configuration for Singapore and delivered only in 2015. There is simply no comparison. An unmatched advantage by F15SG.
Alvin Lim SU30 cannot be compared to F15SG too In terms of key indicators such as radar range, max speed, weapons payload, F15SG is better than SU30 Also msia only has 18 SU30 units in total This is dwarfed by 40 F15SG and 60 F16C/D that Singapore has lol
@@alvinlim7364 Yes Malaysia has 2 Sus in working condition the rest are in dis-repair. Says the Mlysia Defence Minister...Sg has 4 fighters on Patrol 24/7 and 2 more squadrons on standby anytime.
When Singapore purchase F16 (not F15) when Malaysia purchased the F18, shortly the MiG29. When Singapore have the F15SG, the Malaysia "equivalent" is the SU-30 MKM.
Talking about Seletar Air Base... it was built before WWII by the British and core of the RAF... During the Japanese invasion, a fierce battle was fought around the area which result a large number of death to the Japanese which lead to the massacre of the local there... After WWII... the British had once station strategic bomber at the air base... after independence... it become the basic training for new air cadets... :D

allister W Our army was trained by the Israelis but not RSAF. The Taiwanese dud help in training RSAF. In fact the very first chief of RSAF was an officer second from Taiwan.
The pioneer RSAF batch was formed by assimilation of a good number of ROCAF, including our first Commander Ee Tean Chye 傅纯显, 劉景泉 and 4 others forming the first instructional and command core. The significant involvement from ROC was important because of RSAF transition to the use of American aircraft, who the ROC pilots are familiar operators. The first batch of RSAF trainee pilots who flew the A4U Skyhawk are all trained by this core ROC team. Note too that the above commanders are decorated fighter Aces who shot down PLA planes in their service with the ROC.
@@___Danny___ There won’t be much mentioned in the official writing regarding co-operation with ROC. It was classified till now. Even Starlight has not been officially de-classified although whole world knew. It was not about whether ROC operated the Skyhawk, it was about the interface of US equipment as a whole platform doctrine and logistics .
