How did you do a muffler delete? I have a 2017 C300 with the AMG package. People think it's a true AMG cause of how sporty it looks. I love the look of my car and the color is beautiful. I just hate the way it sounds.
Well, an engine is an air pump so I would hope it would sound like it was pumping air. But seriously It's not an AMG dude, it's not aggressive. it sounds good to me.
Part of the "crackles and pops" on AMG cars are actually programmed into the Engine Control Unit. When an AMG shifts and backfires between shifts? That's the ECU cutting spark and basically making it backfire. Cracks from the back of the exhaust usually come from having certain types of resonated exhaust tips or resonators at the back that are tuned to make those sounds. There's a lot more to it than just those two things for sure. Compression, Displacement, Horsepower, exhaust design, H Pipe, X Pipe, Firing Order all that has an impact on how the exhaust will sound.
