2018 Chevrolet Malibu Turbo Sport Review

Hats off to your camera man who shot this video in such trying conditions!! Chevrolet never nailed it when it came to building powerful yet reliable sedans. All the success which they have achieved for so long is thanks to their generous lineup of SUVs and super fast sports cars such as Camaro and Corvette which have built up a legacy of their own. However, I strongly feel that perceptions are bound to change as lately, they have understood the nerve of a potential buyer and the Malibu is just epitome of that. The exterior looks nothing like the past generation and has derived contemporary styling cues from the new age models. I still miss the tall car look of that car though. While that one was more sporty, this is certainly the more luxurious. On the inside, I would make a special mention of the finesse with which the car is surrounded by oodles of leather. One downer on the inside in my opinion is going to be the rear legroom which was an issue in its predecessor and seems to be carried forward to this one as well. I remember being seated in the older generation and the cabin was too claustrophobic to have a comfortable journey. The boot space however was very good. I think though the 2.5L engine produces 184 hp, it is quite enough to suffice anyone and manoeuvre in the normal city and highway traffic. A crisp review and I loved it as always and you rightly said for the money, it is a good looking remarkably drivable thing and I too feel that this one should be one of one's serious considerations before deciding a Camry or an Accord. Keep making such reviews!!
