Unplug your obd2, unplug the cable from the accessport, run cable through the hole in the obd2 panel, now the tricky part. You can either plug in your accesport again or wait, whatever works for you, but using either your fingers or a screwdriver there are two push pins on the side of the obd2 that will allow it to be popped out creating enough room to close the door with the Cobb accessport cable to fit inside. Protip :)
Coming from a guy who just bought an ‘18 STi two months ago....I said I’ll just do muffler deletes and be happy. Turned into a crack pipe bc I’m stage 2 pro tuned now lol. I think you’d be happy with that kind of setup..my car is night & day from stock now. Feels like it should from the factory

Don't do any mods that you can't undo easily, your car may be very valuable to collectors some day and they will pay a premium for originality. My nephew has this same car, he has different sway bars.
Mightycarmods asked the designer of the car if he liked people modding it, and he said "definitely" so I'm not sure what's up with the OBD port. Maybe he wants people to do real mods ;)
Sounds like you unplugged the fake sound, good on ya. I just did a turbosmart bov and mountune cai, don't wanna mod mine too much. If I do exhaust it will be borla atak though.

I'm wondering if that's legit...but it may be because dealerships are still having a hard time moving the RS's...especially with Ford's latest announcement about ending production on all Cars except for the Mustang in North America...if so, that would be a sick deal.
Your car is 1 of 500 in the USA, do not change the blue that adds to the uniqueness of your car. The blue helps to identify your car as somthing special.
I’m confused. Are all 2018’s limited? I see the Australian LE’s the seat shells are colored. There is one just like yours at dealer near me and they say it’s not an LE.
What do you think about the seats and driving position? Are they as bad for you and your girlfriend as many automotive journalists have led me to believe?
The pads on the steering wheel at 7:00 are actually thumb rests and not notches; your arm will be more relaxed with your thumb on the rest than when gripping the wheel with a fist. BTW, I have a NB '18 RS and I personally do not find the sport suspension too harsh. In terms of mods, all I've done so far is the Ford Performance carbon fiber shift knob (much better feel), Weathertech mats / trunk liner, and smoked LED taillights. I was actually in Denver last month on my way to the RS Adrenaline Academy and I must say the roads in the Rockies are beautiful and a perfect place to stretch the legs of the RS.
Great content Adam! I'll probably pick up a '18 RS myself in a few weeks so I enjoyed your review very much. I would personally keep the blue accents, I think it makes the car pop a bit more. I love the feedback from Grace on the car too, hope to see more from you guys.
I was at a dealer this past saturday that had 2 of these red black RS. all the badging was the hyper blue. they were asking around $42K for each. they had 4 in total. I had a focus ST. currently driving a 2017 wrx. focus RS is a sweet car but can not justify the price over my wrx. love the car. good luck with it
