It is awesome to see that you can fit that size of tire on that rig. I am thinking of getting one myself. I would definitely be putting tires like this on it. Drop the air pressure down to 1 psi or less. You get amazing flotation and traction in soft terrain. A lot of people think they’ll risk popping a tire off the bead but that’s not the case in mud. If you were hauling ass down trails and cornering really hard that would be more of an issue, but slow and slippery riding does not put a lot of force on the side walls.
Was originally gonna buy a 2021 rancher 4x4 for $6,499 but im now looking at a 2019 foreman 500 4x4 footshift for sale, only 110miles with 19.8hrs one owner. Never snorkeled or been in mud. He's asking $6,500, you think that's worth it.
I have a 2013 Foreman 500 completely stock with 29.5 Highlifter Outlaw 1's and they don't scrub one bit...I think they must run small..Anyone know, for sure? I'm in the market for some new tires sizes 27-28..I want a smoother ride on harder surfaces like dirt roads and a tire that's lighter in weight, only if possible..I guess u could call them Aggressive All-Terrain perhaps ..I would really appreciate ANY and ALL suggestions! I'm really dig the look of both the ITP Blackwater Evolution And the Maxxis Big Horn..I am open-minded so I would really appreciate ANY and all suggestions! Thanks in Advance!
They make it ride awful on rock and hard surfaces, especially the rear with it being a solid axle. Unless you plan on being mostly in the mud I would stick with the mud lites, had them for years. But no, these will not tear up or strain your quad, especially if it is foot shift.
@@_everydayoffroad_ thanks bud because we have crawfish ponds and my 420 is brand new 2019 and I have 28 but I love the look of your tires but I don't want something that rides rough because I ride all the time thanks tho
I have snapped a front left axle but don’t think that happened because of the tires. With these, you do have to be careful though. They will dig in and snap stock axles like toothpicks
@@_everydayoffroad_ he ask the question I wanted to ask you. I just purchased a 2021 Honda Foreman Rubicon Deluxe today with independent rear suspension. I didn’t get a foot shift though, since I have the DCT model I wonder if it will turn 28’s or should I just get 27’s. It has full auto shift or I can shift the gears with the switch.
The front is +10mm and the rear is -47mm offset. They sit within a half inch or so of being even, the front are slightly wider. But it’s so close you can barely tell.
@@thebogeyboys7483 you will need different offset if yours is a solid rear axle. If you run the same offset your rear tires will be so far up under the fenders it would look goofy and also may give you some more rubbing issues
