At first I thought this was the 2018 Complete Master Set of the mainline assortments. I wouldn't have thought they would have premium as well as regular, but store exclusives also. This set IS AMAZING. Mattel and the designers at the Hot Wheels garage have once again blown me away. There are SO MANY castings and sets I wish I could get. Finding them in my town is HOPELESS. We are lucky to get a case per assortment. Example, last year there was Case A(2018), B, then P(2017), then jumped to D, back to another P. Our Wal-Mart refuses to order Hot Wheels or Funko Pops. Now that I've become disabled, it's a rarity I find anything new. I did luck out. I found a store with a clearance shipper. 50% off. So I finally found the red Audi Wagon...FINALLY..LOL. My disability has put buying Hot Wheels on hold and it's been a really depressing year. I enjoy the hobby so much. Mike you said it best when you commented on people paying crazy ridiculous money for brand new cars. That's why scalpers thrive. In my town the scalpers are organized and actually have people "hired" to hang out at Wal-Mart's between 8pm-1am. That's when the new freight is brought out from the back and left on the floor by each respective department. Paying even $5 for a brand new car that's $0.99 cents to begin with, is NUTS. I was guilty of that in early 2017. I paid crazy money for some Monster Jam Monster trucks. Gas Monkey Garage to be specific. I also got a Special Delivery Monster Jam as well but that was from 2014 I think. My point is I paid less for the 2014 truck $11, than I did for the 2017 Gas Monkey Garage..$15. Thank you for getting a message out there Mr. Zarnock. My collecting days are fast coming to an end. A terminal illness can be a real kick in the head. Or in my case in my chest. I get upset with this because these people really put us decent collectors in a bad light. Dumping pallets of merchandise to get to a case of Hot Wheels? They completely ransack aisles. Now that you can't tell by looking for the missing number in the upper right corner, you will find Hot Wheels laying all over. I'm not sure how bad it is for other town's, but here it's BAD. I have YET to see the Fast and the Furious Black Nissan Skyline. I have gotten the other 5 but not the Black one. Same with the Dodge A100 truck, and any Audi released has been a scalpers dream. Kids, for whom these are actually made for...main line version's anyway, can't even find a Batmobile. Again being disabled it's next to impossible to find any new or relatively new cars or trucks. Anyway I do apologize for the rant. I REALLY ENJOY Hot Wheels. These "unboxings" were awesome for me when I had pneumonia and was hospitalized for 1-3 weeks at a time. So thank you for that. Awesome! And come to think of it I had my first Hot Wheels 50 or more years ago. Back then I played with them whereas today I collect. I ran my mongoose and snake funny cars across the kitchen floor. Even had the Red Barron and the Paddy Wagon at one point. Probably lost them in the back yard and have had to recollect them recently.

Somebody dropped the ball. I really feel bad for NY Zamac collectors. It's been a dream of mine among amateur collectors to establish a network across the U.S. to help each other acquire basics and perhaps "Car Culture". Either by trade or RAOK. I live in an area which has 5 Walmart stores within a 20-mile radius, multiple Dollar Stores, 3 Dillons/Krogers. The only hang-up here is the one Target store is terrible with stocking their exclusives. Happy 2019.

We don't have Krogers here and only 1 Target within 60 miles. We do have lot of Walmart stores, but as I stated, we get missed with a lot of the Exclusives. I would love to see a network of collectors who could share their extras at cost. But, I myself have no time available for such a venture.

Medallions was where we'd go to get the hot wheels in Dallas and got the Mustang Cuba and the Tbird Cougar and if you could find it ford galaxy's this looks like the way to go.

All day my son says "Mom Mom Race car race car!" So I started to buy him Hot Wheels after Hot Wheels and now I have toy chest full and continuing. This was a great video for review to get more ideas following. My son loves his youtube channel racing them.

Only saw two of the Stars and Stripes set. Missed a chase from the black and gold. All in all didn’t fare too bad I don’t think but getting that 50th anniversary set with the master set and one would be hooked up and needing very little to have the entire years release in possession.

Walmart in n.e.ohio had the zamac flames except the camero...i have all but the camaro the store said a collector bought all the camaro...i was lucky enough to get all the black n gold at family dollor in ohio...awesome set..

I never saw the retro packaged cars on any pegs, but I (craftily) odered the full set through Walmart.com Easy. and only paid retail. I’ve always wondered how the hot wheels market values worked. I’ll never know or understand and neither will anyone else. That and the 50th favorites were the hardest sets to collect in entirety from this master set box. Wish I had the fancy packaging and not just the contents (including the supers)!

The more people want something and the less there are of it, the more it sells for. Some stores don't even get some of these car either which makes it harder for collectors. Ordering from Walmart on line or the online Hot Wheels shops is definitely the way to go.

As you said, the popular stuff. I always say to wait until things settle down before you pay crazy money for something. The older stuff will usually hold its value if not go up. The new stuff that some people are chasing will usually go down, way down....

Do you have Hot Wheels in the gum ball machine? I have a large gum ball machine shaped like a visible gas pump full of 1:64 Volkswagen diecasts. I was just wondering if another great mind had the same idea.

The Mainline Master Set is usually out in November or December. I've been told they will be out sometime in January.

Cool collection! I actually have the 5 Hot Wheels Originals, got them month ago at my local TRU, also got the Black and Gold collection recently at a local Walmart (except the gold Camaro, but I'll be looking for it!) and a few more, I think I will get the 5-pack as well, it will be easy to find in my local stores, seen it many times. Cool unboxing!

Next time you have a box in a box . Pull the flaps all the way back , carefully put the box up side down and pull the flaps towards you up and as air enters inside the contents will slowly come out. envious of your full collection I have 10. I need the camero 😢😡 thank you for posting!

Considering it cost 400 for RLC members...is this really worth it considering the quantity of stuff provided with very few supers. They should have provided ALL supers!

All the Supers and other stuff will be in the Mainline Master Set.
