The new Hyundai Santro is based on the Grand i10. It comes with a 1.1-litre petrol engine with 68bhp and is available in manual and automatic gearbox versions. A CNG-version fitted from the factory is also available. The top-end versions come with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, reverse camera and rear AC vents. Prices for the Santro start from Rs 3.89 lakh rupees.

I think many people will reject to buy this car because of its front look... In my opinion 2nd gen Santro still looks better but in terms of interior new Santro done an excellent job...👍🏻

santro cng vs celerio cng - only diffrnc in cng perfomance and whos cng kit is best !! this is really much required as no one compared for best factory fit cng kit.

Feul economy and fun to drive aspect then go for Aspire...and not an ambiente model a bit upper one...But if Premium feel,comfort and better space You are upto with more better after market service network and peace you are looking for,i 20 it is...i 20 can seat 5 ppl much easier then ford aspire coz aspire is a narrow shaped and i20 is much braoder with longer wheelbase...Last but not the least i 20 will give you much better after sales lets say after 5 years or so then aspire...both products are very good...though you won't go wrong with any of these two...All the best and have a happy going after making choice out of one of these...😉😀

@@techthrives1355 tiago's built quality, security measures, looks, steering sensitivity. I think in these aspects tiago have an upper edge over santro. Cuz these are the main considerable points comes in buyer's mind when he wants to buy a car. Now let's talk about santro, 6.25 lacs on road for a 68bhp car which secured 1 star in security is not so good at all and not even budget oriented. And not even tiago, compare Santro with other cars too. You have tigor os for 6.40 lacs on road, ignis middle class for 6.2 lacs and nexon petrol is 6.5 lacs on road even swift vxi is 6 lacs..!! which definitely be the better option than santro. Santro has just one advantage over tiago which is head room and space otherwise tiago have advantage in almost every aspect at almost same price.

Hi Aashish, When it comes to Car, the only place I truly look is the Autoportal. It's very useful review covering the all the features and truly unbiased as well. The only thing I feel missing is: What would be the comfort level of occupants if fully loaded with passengers and How will the vehicle perform under the scenario like suspension, power and torque? If that is included in your review, I think it would cover all the aspects of a review.

Sir, Grand i10, Xcent, and Elite i20 are based on Hyundai's BA Platform whereas Santro is based on earlier generation i10 HA platform.

Having used a 2003 Xing for 10 years, I have to say I really like the interiors. They are a huge step up from the old gen Santro. You couldn’t even carry bottles in the doors and the cup holders were rubbish! But I just can’t seem to be excited about the exteriors of the new Santro! The front is like a scary clown and the back is uninspiring. The side profile has that weird kink in the window line! I wanted to fall in love with this car but it’s just too weird and not in a good way :(

Well it's a great launch by Hyundai, with petrol, AMT and CNG options. But somehow Hyundai is not prepared over deliveries of CNG variants. The CNG vehicles are not yet available in market. I made the booking on 10 th October standing on 2,444 the number and 2nd at dealership (22 days before official launch) But somehow, they failed to update CNG deliveries in festival time.. Have been following up with sales team ..but even they are not coordinating properly.. Sad, but somehow Hyundai spoiled my festive excitement inspite of early booking... Duh..!!
