I love all matters of racing. Rally, nascar, circut, MX, but this needs to be the next best thing. I sat here and watched this whole thing and was hooked from the second it started.
Amazing job piloting this thing through the woods, 40:30 the mud after the creek looked gnarly and the hill climb right after too. Extra points for the co-pilot for keeping the footage clean and call outs👌
I loved the addition of the gauges to the screen. really interesting how hard you sometimes got on the brakes and seeing the temp gauge get cooler in the woods then heat back up when on the throttle hard.
It looks like huge fun, but the lack of passing opportunities is cripplingly frustrating! If you get stuck behind a slower driver there just isn’t anything you can do. This guy can drive the shit out of that thing👍 it was so stressful to watch, I immediately wanted you guys to win because of how well this guy is driving!
That'd be so much fun! Can't wait till I can afford some acreage out in the country so I can play around like this! Those drivers have some damn good upper body strength cuz I know those utvs don't have power steering.
@@FoundOnRoadDoodling no shit?! I've only driven my brother's 900 razor and it doesn't have power steering. Guess it would make sense for the higher end racing ones to have it.
Great driving, video and audio! that thing sounds sick! Edit: is it allowed to cut thru the bush like that to pass in a race situation? I understand if you're passing slower traffic.
normally a race is within 30 feet or so of the arrows unless there are two arrows on both sides. so yeah you can cut corners if you dare to get a pass. not sure on gncc rules but most series it's like 20-60 feet from the course.
Might be suitable for the application, but it just sounds so wrong, like a bloody 50cc moped. I do appreciate all the rest: the driving, the offroading capability of the vehicle, ecc. But just immagine a nice sequential gearboax off a motorbike, for sure it would sound better!
@@trevi8016 I like cvts, for me they sounds like good power delivery ;) by driving daily hybrid toyota I really got used to it's sound and personally I prefere stable rpms, ride smooth af and knowing that if throttle is floored I imminently get peak power all the way from zero
Awesome Race !!! Great footage as well with that roll-over right in front of you and that front-flip-over right beside you..INTENSE...I was twisting and turning on the edge of my seat for 58 minutes. If that is the last GNCC UTV race ever, will there be another series that you will be running instead?
Was thinking of getting one of these. But after seeing this "extreme" "driving" I'll stick to my dirtbikes. I like my gears, clutches, airtime, maneuverability, actual reasons for wearing my gear, and relying on my actual skills. Not a fan of the Mario cart all throttle or all brake "racing". Fast forward to 8 minutes, closed video at 10 minutes. This completely flipped my opinion on utv's in 2 minutes.
Johnny Fabish I also don’t understand why they’re wearing gear it’s not like they’re getting pelted by rocks like dirt bikers do, all they’re doing is braking, throttling and turning, no clutching unlike a dirt biker. This is not extreme or skilled riding like dirt biking is, No thank you, I’m going to have to pass.. pass you on my dirt bike.
@@Mandatoryuser yes in my 460 v8 rail buggy I've gone 130 on my own property unlike most people that have to load their slow ass equipment on trailers and go to an illegal spot.
