We’re out in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, ahead of the Ironman World Championships. This year is it’s 40th anniversary since 15 people set out to complete the impossible - swimming, cycling and running 140.6 miles in 1978.
Four decades later, and it has become a huge spectacle for triathletes, with thousands striving to race on the big island. It has an incredible history and some awesome statistics. So it’s about time we did a Kona In Numbers!
