I still find it surprising that they still try to compare this to the X1, GLA, and Q3. This car is quite a league above those vehicles with way better/faster engines, nicer amenities, and therefore higher prices. Perhaps they are all similar in size, but after having stood next all of these myself, the E-Pace seems bigger. With the better engines and amenities, I'd compare this more to the Macan GTS and perhaps the Stelvio Quadrifoglio long before I'd compare it to the other 3. Maybe the AMG GLA, but better yet would be the AMG GLC Coupe. An absolute base, un-optioned E-Pace is still nicer, faster, more expensive, and better than the other 3.
Hey the 2 of you actually kept me entertained and didn't get stupid.Nice job. As for the car I like that blue color and it sounds like it could be fun to drive.
It evokes the feeling in me of the Evoque. Uses the same GKN four wheel drive system with clutch packs instead of differentials, not to supplement differentials.
Is Jaguar E Pace crossover or suv? What is different between SUV and crossover? Is Jaguar making 3 row seat SUV or crossover for north american market?
"JLR's joint venture with partner Chery, in Changshu, China." info lifted from the wiki page on the E-pace. it also says its also assembled in Graz, Austria
It's interesting Roman when you said the F Pace outsold everything else in the Jaguar range, seems reminiscent of what happened with the Porsche Cayenne. Even to this day its still a best seller along with the baby Porsche (Macan).
iVlogBuzz Exactly what I was thinking hopefully Jaguar can use their F pace success to improve their cars immensely similar to Porsche with the Cayenne.
What’s the point? The roads in Corsica are perfect. Having visited this island for the past 20 years I would the say the best car is a low sports chassis , front wheel drive (mini, DS3, Golf GTI) or Subaru alternative.
What about the rear of a Volvo XC90? It looks like a big Kia Picanto. And if you drive an Aston Martin you won't get noticed in the streets, because people think it's a Ford Mondeo.
What about Reliability? It's seems to me the new car Industry is building cars that are full of features, easy to drive, but also replaceable every 5 years or so... This one seems like one of those.
logtothebase2 Do people actually lust after Jaguar's? Their reliability reputation is so bad and they look too much like Fords and their prices border on ridiculous.
Amazing how easy it is to thrash an expensive vehicle when you don't have to pay for it! Can you see anybody who has paid for one with their own money caning it off road?
Andrew Wilson Its built for that from the company and that’s advertisement by the company and if i bought one i will take her offroad if she can doit i just bought a 2018 wrangler rubicon jl coasted me with upgrades 70k do i take it offroad oh yeeaaas I dooo and it has 400 miles so far and its been offraoded 3 times already rocks mud water crossing each time
Omar The man wow,you bought a new vehicle to thrash off road? Happy days when you got the money to do hat. I spent a Indy fraction of that on an old Cherokee and thrash it off road with impunity. The more dents the better!
I will never, ever own another Jaguar. Shocking reliability in everything from lights to infotainment to engine. Everything breaks. I owned an XF that had over $10k of repairs within 2 1/2 years. Then less than two months out of warranty, the engine blew up. Jaguar wanted $15k for a new engine and more if the turbos were scrap. Shocking cars. 😤
The 900 hp, 6-wheel drive "ZED-Pace." This, dear friends, is the car that would (if they could ever make it) would have been spawned from a Bentley Bentayga and a Mercedes G-Wagon. Put that together. What a fascinating child it would be!
To prove you are super rich is to have time to get your baby into the dealer service department once a week or months just to get fixed here and there. If you rich but your time is tight you are not really rich. Let's get a jaguar.
Oh thats right, too many paces. F-Pace, E-Pace, I-Pace. Whats next? XYZ-Pace? Why not stick with original names like instead of calling it the E-Pace, call it Greg. The Jaguar Greg. Now thats something i would drive.
Not everyone needs a big suv, not everyone has dozens of kids and parents and relatives and.... to load. E Pace has the right dimensions for what was built for.
