Hell yes thank you so much for this vid my belt broke leaving me stranded found a local car parts store got the tools and belt minutes later I'm on the road dude thank you
For over 40 years, I've replaced several different fan/serpentine belts and pulleys. The 2014 Grand Cherokee 3.6L is the MOST challenging belt to install. I say this whether installing an old/worn or brand new belt. The tensioner needs about 1/8" additional give to make installation easier. Serpentine belts aren't complicated - Jeep indeed makes it difficult. Ugg
No not at the moment but it’s really simple. Just need to unhook the battery, take off the serpentine belt like I did in this video, unbolt the nut that’s usually covered by a rubber boot on the alternator that goes from the positive batter terminal to the alternator, then there’s usually three bolts holding the alternator to the block and that’s it remove alternator and replace with new.
Not really sure because I checked Goodyears website and looks like they changed the part number since this video. Here’s a link to the new part number assuming yours is the 3.6l goodyearbelts.mycarparts.com/items/A060664
