Happy to hear that Maruti has finally bought a (bigger) engine which is nice and calm and pulls nicely. I have a Honda City and quality wise both the cars are at the same level,in fact the insulation is much better in the Ciaz.

Except for side airbags, this is overall a good package specially after considering its price. Its a good option for those who want space, are sedate drivers and daily drive in the city because it offers good drivability at low speeds and the peace of mind because it is backed by the after sales service of MS.

0:20 The spacing which is left in the front of the engine could commodate 1.6l engine easier. And Maruti should think of making the RS version of the Ciaz. 👍

@@atharva0777 it's never too much anyways i was only talking about the amount of space bro moreover it won't be practical because there'll be excessive taxes as the engine exceeded 1.5L so it'll be like a 12lakh car for which you have to pay 16 or 17 but it can be done easily suzuki has a v6 block they call it H that block is available with 2.2&2.5 configurations i guess a bored out version of 2.5 reaching upto 2.7 is also available but it's not very reliable apparently a 2.5 block with a 2.7 head is best configuration of those suzuki H engines

Faisal sir, pls suggest which is good option out of ciaz sigma petrol and ertiga vxi. Both have price gap of almost 5k in faridabad. I hv a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. Looking for Either of the vehicle.. Usage will be 1-2 long drives in a year.. But daily office running up to 40kms/day.

I dont understand why a lot of people praise Vtec too much, yes its good, but I think the new Ford Dragon Petrol engine is a gem of an engine that revs to 6850 rpm, has 150 NM torque more than all of its rivals and yet nobody priases it. It even gives good fuel economy.

I'm glad people still remember the Baleno 1.6 sedan. Such a capable car, which unfortunately became a sales dud. I can't figure out why Maruti would give the name to what appears to be a glorified Swift. The 1.5 K Series may be marginally better than 1.4 of Old Ciaz, but it's still nowhere as capable or punchy as the 1.6 G16B.
