It's nice IRL. Interior isn't too bad and the styling grew on me. Haven't test driven one yet but the cvt doesnt seem too shabby. Nice package for the price

I wasn't too big a fan when I first saw it, but the looks is starting to grow on me. I'm still not a fan of the Eclipse name, but the car itself is fine. Mitsubishi however unlike what most Americans believe, actually is gaining sales & in a more financially stronger position than even Tesla. SUV (unfortunately) are now the new hot things everyone wants and Mitsubishi provides.

Who needs a volume knob ,,, honestly . You got one on your steering wheel which will always keep ur hands on the wheel. And you can easily slide your finger up or down on the pad . So easy and quick. My i phone doesnt have a knob. Bad comment dude. I forgive you cause your still young and trying . If you need to slide the seats forward in the back , that means you need to put in something larger . WHAT ARE YOU PUTTING IN THE TRUNK THAT IS SO LARGE THAT WILL FALL BETWEEN THE 2 INCH GAP . Another useless comment . The steering wheel in the cross your testing probably had a little defect . I got mine and has no issues at all. STOP PUTTING ALL YOUR WEIGHT ON THE STEERING WHEEL GETTING IN OR OUT OF THE CAR . It will put less stress on it . If you want to make overtaking easy , make sure you are not on eco mode.. I did a roadtest across canada and i passed tons of cars with ease. I did have problems overtaking at 180 km/h . That porsche was way too fast ... Best bang for the buck , and a great head turner.. Lots of people loved it . Oh yeah 10 years warranty and roadside assistance . Great for all you hard working people out there that dont want any headaches . Go for the gt model . ENJOY

Agreed, it's pretty lame. I liken it to a "group think" mentality. Most people have no clue what they are talking about. I'm a lifelong Honda fanatic but there are also 2 Mitsu's in this family. An 06 Montero (winter truck/soccer hauler) that is built like a Benz only it is reliable, 124k and counting. A 2015 Outlander that has been a reliable and efficient family hauler/commuter. The Outlander is a bit behind the times indeed, but it is still a great machine.

I actually took the car on a test drive and it wasn’t bad on windy roads it pretty grippy and has decent acceleration for a crossover just because you see a ol name doesn’t mean it not a good car .

M Sal89 Yes , Renault , Nissan , and mitsubishi have formed and alliance. Nissan and Renault have been partnered for almost 2 decades while Mitsubishi just joined September of last year.

i think it has to do with the president of mitsubishi motors making one bad decision after the next. like killing off the EVO. That has to be the worst decision that guy ever made. mitsubishi is doing good in some markets and bad in others. it does bad in the USA but does good in europe. Thanks to the outlander phev. I really dont know what to say as a mitsu supporter. some of their cars are overpriced in certain markets as well like in the phillipines and singapore, its even expensive in japan

Mgoblagulkablong That's a good amount of miles and undoubtedly much higher than what you'll get out of most Audi's, but that still is lacking compared to alot of their Korean, American and Japanese rivals.

Your experience may be different but I know what good vehicles are, I prefer German. Tech will fail on any car knowing hardware can't last forever, another reason why Korean and Japanese built up their "reliability," because there was no tech. If you are doing a motor and transmission comparison German will outlast any other hands down. Give it 10 years see true reliability everyone else just recently caught up to the same level.

Bu i am amaze believe it or not i traveled 190 km the eclipse cross for almost a month without Radiator fan and it still running well temperature not change still in the normal condition. But im upset how the radiator fan fail at early age.

iHeart GT86 {KatyCat} not really, the engines are very reliable (we own a 13' Lancer and a 14' Monterosport) the only thing I hate is the bad interior quality. The LCD is shit for the Montero, It broke less than 2 years but the ride is comfy and the engine is quite powerful for a car it's size. The Lancer however is just outdated but conpared to it's competitors in the PH market, it is far ahead in tech during its time (it was one of the cars with an LCD which brought me and my fam to consider it). But actually now, Mitsubishi is growing and their cars are getting more appreciation by Filipino families who can only afford a $10k car. They focused more on big cars since there are massive potholes and bad and flooding roads all around tge Philippines

I'd buy the older style Outlander Sport over this. Why? It's less expensive, less complicated (and likely more reliable in the long-run), gets the same MPG, no turbo lag, same size vehicle. The engine and transmission are proven reliable after this many years. Read owner reviews. People love their Outlander Sport. This Eclipse Cross is much more modern looking inside and out, but that's about it for the pros.

A stupid Company does not deserve any customers. What the hell is this POS they put the name Eclipse on; although the name Eclipse was ruined with the last 2 models of that car. I drive an EVO and that will be the last Mitsubishi I'll buy since they stopped make car that their customers want in favor of what the nonsense like this they want to push on us.
