Lots of incredible mopars , feel like I should have brought my truck for a showing hee hee!!I love car shows, I always try to make it to them when and where they appear.Nice job on the walk around. Thanks!!
Good choice for the colors on the triple green car, a buddy of mine had a dark green '69 with white vinyl roof and white seats and white bumble bee stripes and it was definitely a head turner, one of the sharpest Chargers I ever saw. This is an awesome car show!!!!!
Thank you for making the effort and bringing us to the car/MOPAR show with you. I always love the car shows, but I don't get out of New England much if ever. (And YES, there are some sweet cars up here, despite the salted winters). About people recognizing you - get used to it, I have the feeling that will happen more and more. ;-)
great to see you back on, and thanks for letting us see the car show, will definitely like to see you working on the turquoise charger soon, I'll be waiting on next video Chris
Nice cars. Love the Roadrunners and Chargers. And the 70 superbee my favorite mopar cars. Love my chevys also. I watched all your videos you do the best work. Love to have you rebuild a car for me sometime.
You might not agree. But I love me some 1962 Dodge Polara 500 .. especially with a wedge. Getting hard to find now.. there used to be plenty of good condition stockers around at a decent price, but they're getting fewer and farther between.
I LOVE that orange 68 around three minutes in. I had a 68 Charger about five or six years ago and that's probably what I would have done with it, orange paint, black vinyl top, black stripe. I was going to start on it after I finished my 1977 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, which I just got finished by the way, but I ended up selling it because I didn't know if I was going to end up moving, and I'm still kicking myself in the ass over that. Oh well. Glad to see you're back. I've been missing these videos!
661 for the 68 Charger is dark green metallic (F8 in 1969) Charger Red would be 331. Not too many 68 spring color Chargers out there. I have a 661 318 A/C black interior, green top that is in queue for my next project.
If you come back to mn I know were untouched 1970 super bee is 383, 4 speed, bench seat, plum crazy. It been siting out side since the 80s and its rusty but it's plum crazy with white tail stripe.
i liked the yellow duster with the ram air blower thing better than most chargers, lighter an you can see good out of them, my first really fast ride was 68 roadrunner..ben driving dakota r/t for 13 years...
Gee where would my 1960 Plymouth 2dr ht Fury with a 1965 383 magnum, a chrysler A813 18 spline transmission and it's dana, with 1970 Satalite high back buckets be in this meet? Great to see so many in great shape. I like to drive my cars and they are in no way trailer queens.
I was there Sunday. Didn't know you were going to be there, would have been cool to chat. Also, that green A12 at 10:05 is from my home town in MN, nice guy. Hopefully I can catch you next year.
like the seagulls in finding Nemo, mine mine mine man, what goodies to behold! I like those orange accents in the cuda seats c'mon, lets go driving! ▪☆☆☆▪
Starting work on 71 Charger RT R5 Blue Bought 15 Year's ago for $1600.00. 26.000 miles on car putting all back to Original. Your almost up to Movie Star Status! With what you know and can do I believe you could have your own Rebuild show on Television! Been watching you for some time now! Grab that 71 RT in your uncles yard they cut the air the best!
This guys cool.😎. Last guys video i saw sounded like the guy from motel 6. "We'll leave the light on for you". 'As you can see he's got this part and that part'. This guy says 'Hey thats a cuda!'
George Jetson > What year? My first car was a 1967 Mustang I bought when I was sixteen years old back in 1975. I had a 1966 fastback in 1994 Had a built 351W-4 speed. Sold it to my best friend and he still has it.
I have a red 65 rag top that i got 3rd hand a long long time ago, a red 89 GT rag top bought brand new and a red 2015 rag top that i bought 2nd hand... All of them are 100% factory bone stock virgins. I'm actually a Chevy guy because of my job history in the marine industry and a closet mopar fan with a hard on for a 68 RT
I am a MOPAR guy. Right now I have a triple black Dodge Charger just like the one @ the 12:18 mark in this video. back in 1977 I had a 1974 Charger, just like the one I have now. I also had a 1972 Barracuda and a 1941 Plymouth Coupe, the first street rod I built myself. That's the car pictured in my thumbnail. Would love to have a 1969 Road Runner. I have had so many cars over the years as you could pick them up pretty cheap back in the 70s & 80s. should have kept them all!!!
my daily is a clapped 76 chevette with an old school 327. it has some paint on it in a few spots... Nobody even looked at my Fox body at the car show, which is a sweetheart. My chevette draws huge crowds where ever i drive it... pisses me off.
The only thing I really like about the first gen chargers are the rear bucket seats. Otherwise, they look like a stationwagon that was picked before it was ripe.
wow so many! when i was in high school there were rows of chargers cuda superbee and many got wrecked street racing back when limousine window tint side pipe exhaust and glass packs were legal. i still have my 68 mustang always wanted a charger but their always forever expensive. i know a place..........far from any public roads hidden behind a 5th generation farm in a forest of pine trees a guy named jerry and his brother larry in a county without unlicensed vehicle bylaws, an abandoned junkyard full of these and i'm not telling anyone
Serious question for you mate dude. I'm looking to buy a mopar and love the charger! I mean I love them they are awsome but they are too big to be used as a daily in the UK. So putting the charger to one side but still wanting dodge love we move to the sister car the challenger we have a few in the UK for good money but which model would you suggest is the best car and year? Thanks in advance Chris I know you are very busy at the moment
I met Catherine Bach at the World of Wheels in Chicago in the early 80s.Even back then she looked pock marked because she didn't have a ton of make-up plastered on her face. She was even dressed in her shorts one day only...but I wasn't there that day.Back then they had a 69 Charger that was used in the show as a stunt car. They filmed much footage in North Carolina. That Black 69 Bee was bad ass...!!!
Hey Chris !!!! Miss you man, where have you been? Have you found true love? Ive watched all your videos. Have been in love with the Coke bottle 68-70 Chargers since I was 13 yrs old.Love the Road Runners,Bees,Coronet 440s also. Cant stand the rusted beer can Dusters,Darts,Belvederes etc. I had a new 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner that was sky metallic blue with a white vinyl hood, and white stripes up tge sides. It had a 400 cid in it. After 2 yrs,the 400 smog motor came out and a 440 6 pack went in.Won a lot of races with that bird because most motorheads here in Pennsylvania believed it was an "all show,no go" car, which it was the first 2 yrs. Course, the ladies didnt care.LOL Im still on the shelf wondering what happened to some of your Charger projects in process? One question for you,if I found a decent Charger project car,are there still new accessories like the original inside floor consoles or dashes etc? Or is it catch as catch can? Do you go to the Carlisle car show? Take car, happy hunting and have a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I agree with you on the hood of the 70 bee you run right by all the good cars my fist car was a 70 charger but would rather have a 64;65 Belvedere or polara I see you at least like the 2nd gen barracudas I’m not a big fan of the notch back big corvairbut I miss my 67 barracuda Fs 383 car the most out of all the mopars I have owed though the years
On the gold 68 Charger, I was in awe of the interior being what appeared as original, then I saw the monster tach strapped to the steering column and almost puked.
why doesn't that 440 badge on the fender of that green r/t ac charger you asked the guy if the upholstery was original look like it's wrong? hoods, hemi badges 66 &67 coronets and GTXs on the front fender after the door mid upper and at front edge, but not 440 there.hmm certain factory odd placement maybe? kinda like chevy ss stripes weren't uniform with square instead of round edges,so i wonder. ▪☆☆☆▪
