Hey, I just got a 2020 mt 07. Planning on getting yoshi r77 full exhaust with no other mods. If I get PC5, should I just use 2020 mt 07 with yoshi r77 map?
Well honestly you still need earbuds to ride with anyway cause the wind is loud enough as it is lmao. But with this bike, any exhaust is gonna be stupid loud. Though the full M4 is the loudest in my opinion. And getting a tune is gonna take time anyways, unless you have a dump near you then you can get it done that day lol
Love the sound of the M4. I bought the same exhaust with the dna lid and filter and tuned it with the same dynojet tune you did but my bike cuts out at just under full throttle. Any advice?
@@TheAssassinMT07 ya i used the 22-065-008 of the dynojet site which is the Akrapovic exhaust DNA air filter and airbox lid. Only thing else i have done to my bike is a R6 throttle tube i wouldn't think that could cause the issue.
The Assassin cheers mate I watched the video of you installing it and it sounds so much louder I don’t know how I would feel loosing the noise 😂 best sounding bike out there in my opinion but if it needs to be done then I’ll make sure to get it sorted when I get mine next year
If u have different mods on the bike than what the power commander maps offers do you just have to choose whats closest? Sorry im new to ecu flashing snd looking to do it on my bike as well cuz of my full exhaust
Yeah with a flash you just have to get what’s closest to your bike. A dyno tune will always be the best way to go because they CAN literally do anything and everything to the ecu lol
Ryan Catone yessir. Since I have an m4 and a stage 2 dna air filter, I uploaded their closest map which was Akra exhaust with dna stage two air filter. That’s about as good as you can get and it really does make the bike run a lot better!!
The Assassin I have a 2019 Mt-07 and they only have fuel maps for an 18’ so I’m using that and I have stainless steel carbon tip yoshi r77 and it’s amazing, stock air filter , and i was shocked at how much faster it was. The fastest I’ve gotten it to go is 139mph but that’s pushing it. If you were to go downhill you could maybe get 2 or 3 more mph but nothing over.
Ryan Catone 140?? Damn man!! I haven’t gotten mine past 130 and that’s mainly because of the bars I’m running. They’re so wide I can’t really tuck in like I want too. But I didn’t buy this bike for speed I got it so I could stunt lmao. But it is crazy how much more powerful it is when you tune it right 👌🏼
Yeah I absolutely love wheeling and launching it just has so much torque👌🏼. But yeah I highly recommend woodcraft clip-ons 1in risers they make such a huge difference. Arashi Chinese racing Footpegs are decent for the price on amazon. They look nice.
tune is bad lol....sad to say it. even seems like they didnt change the ignition settings to match that akra tune. I tune myself. if you have the ability to look with ftecu, turn off the stock 02 sensor it might be that and eco mode making it pop in decel. i also think the bike runs better with the ignition cutoff turned off (less engine braking). and doesnt hurt the stock auto cam chain tensioner under high rpm decel.
Honestly I’ve thought about sending my ecu somewhere to get it retuned. I think it could be better in my opinion. I just don’t have the knowledge to go into the ftecu software and mess with everything myself. I kinda just went off what Jake the garden snake said would work the best. And not only that but I made it to where the ignition cutoff is turned off and it still engine brakes like it’s stock. Idk how that happened but yeah. I went with a power commander tune that was for an akra exhaust and DNA filter. That’s as close as I could get it. But I have no idea how to mess with the small shit on there. And I also didn’t know that this bike had an eco mode. I thought that would’ve been shown on the bike or the program
Those power Commander settings are just AFR I'm assuming... And who knows who made it lol...and on what fuel octane etc etc. I would suggest PMing me ;)
I went on their site and I used the “Akra exhaust with dna air filter” but eventually I’m going to get a different tune entirely soon cause this one I’m running could be better
