Or, about 50 seconds slower than the pace Kipchoge kept for a full marathon. Yeah I know, Kipchoge ran on the road. However, these guys are younger and running ALL OUT for a 10K while Kipchoge is going at cruise control for a FULL marathon!

@@joeyp7452 Doesn't change the fact. And I don't see where I wrote, "Kipchoge wasn't pushing himself." You can push a car to near its limit and still engage cruise control. Cruise control simply means you are holding the pace for a prolonged amount of time. Read the definition. Furthermore, Kipchoge was still full of energy at the conclusion of the challenge, running and jumping around, giving the spectators high-fives. These other guys looked DRAINED!!

barchetta575m wrong if you were to set your cruise control at max speed or even too high the throttle could get stuck or the pcm could shut down, so you saying that lets me know you don’t really know what you’re talking about

@@Lordloss646 that's completely incorrect, if you're saying that the government requires colleges to enroll a certain percentage of students of each race. Maybe their is some crap with that in sports, but I highly doubt that as the supreme court didn't look THAT favorably on affirmative action when it was deciding that type of lawsuit in the 1900s

Of the 3 "American" runners in the last Olympic 800, not one was born in the US. College races and Olympics are not really based on countries as much anymore. It's just where you can get citizenship status to REPRESENT that country. We also see a lot of "collegiate" athletes training (on scholarships) on US campuses, then representing their home country in the Olympics and World Championships.

Actually we pay for our own university education, however we don’t have the same sporting opportunities that American university scholarships offer. You have to go to great lengths to be the best, even if it means leaving all your friends and family behind in Australia.
