HUH ?? That level of attention to detail cannot be bought for Cayman 718 money !! I own a Cayman myself and its a lovely piece of kit, but not even remotely close to this car in any respect.

The work they did on the gold car was not standard, there was quite a lot of bespoke work done to it. Even the colors were custom. The seats were special work, and so was the interior. This was more like the way Bentley or Rolls do every car they make. I’d bet the custom work on this one added almost 100K to the price. It’s nice, but Porsches are about driving, not extra fancy custom interiors and laser pinstriped wheels.
What is your point though? Paint is laid on every car; so are the real leathers and the alloys,,, much of this video was standard trim process. Bentley and Rolls are for old people with no idea of form and function in cars and with their noses stuck in a local cloud
Well, alot of the literally owners just own it. And have it safely somewhere because its so valueble and exclusive they only drive it around the driveway

I drove an almost-new 911 Turbo once in the late-90s, if only for maybe 15 minutes on a summer night in Los Angeles, and yes, if I had the money (or even much more), it left me feeling that nothing would make me happier than to experience regularly driving a Porsche 911, Turbo-or-not. That's the impact that car had on me.
Clearly you did not met my wife, Tagu San! She´s so ugly nobody wants her. She has dating accounts by different bureau´s made by myself so maybe she found someone and leave me.... I´m afraid I stuck with her forever. I left her multiple times at gas stations but miraculous she finds always a way home.
Tagu San, she's still has an nice smile but when I met her, she was about 140 pounds lighter than she is now these days and i'm afraid she doesn't stop growing in the near future! Are you interested maybe??
it's not just the craftsmanship on display here... it's a clean workplace, look at the natural light, the floors, their clothes.... this is how it is done. much can be learned from watching this, that has little to nothing to do with cars, but my goodness.... THE CAR! I would love to visit this factory and sit and chat with the people who mapped this out.
not at all..... you have to take off rear light and bump and wheel fender for just FXXK change the air filter every single time. and some times it will damage the paint or fender or Someting about those tings.....and Turbo even get more difficulty i had a 4S for 2years then sold it..... but its quick and very good performance at the same class

This Porsche-S Special Edition is beautiful & very impressive in all areas. I'm American former military and was stationed in Germany & I Saw German craftsmanship up close!!!!!...Their attention to detail is unprecedented and unsurpassed and puts my countries workmanship to shame!!!!!...Americans generally don't care about attention to detail!!!!!...HOOAH,MAGA
I am sure that is not true about Americans - look at the space program, it ALL about attention to detail, as far as i can tell. Remember, to Germans, and Porsche aficionados especially, these are more than merely cars, they have a mythical cult like status like nothing else.
Not many over weight employees. Most in the 20s, 30s. They look physical fit, may not be on daliy meds as well. That should make production run better. Auto production lines in America have something to consider, are employees who build car out of shape or in shape? I don't like porches but if I did I would be very confident in the product.

Tesla is changing the car industry to a certain degree and yes german car manufacturers are trying to keep/catch up with some of the technologie. So now without any relation to your comment: The near future of cars wont look like many think right now. (near future=next 50 years)
I lived in Germany from 1973 thru 1978 and was extremely impressed everywhere I went, the precision is worlds best. It does make me think about how they kicked ass in WW2. I guess numbers can win over the highest quality. But Germany is and always will be my favorite country. I bought a 1971 911s , shipped it to New Jersey then drove it to Oregon in a day and a half. Got one ticket in Ohio I never paid. haha
These videos never get old. It's amazing how much effort is put into these and other cars like it. Such a sense of pride. Expensive AF but man, just awesome to watch!
One of my favourite brand Porsche I love this brand cars... My dream car is Carrera 911 turbo S. Glad if I get the better opportunity in Porsche still applying to get better opportunity here... But I never quit still I try applying until I get it... My dream to work in Porsche Company....
What is also remarkable, is the Human Environment in which you can hear workers talking, laughing and even you can see a worker chewing gum, which is sometimes relaxing. Great Porsche!

O K. I really do think that a Lexus is a nice car too. But Lexusses don't win prizes, Porsches do. See what I mean? Porsche is a well deserved iconic name, Lexus ain't. I see Mustangs driving by on a daily basis, here where I live, in Belgium, and I must say; they look very, very attractive, indeed. On the other hand, Top Gear had an episode were Jezza is driving a new Mustang from London to Milan, and boy, that car was falling apart after not even 1000 miles. It's plastic interior was having problems holding together! From that moment on, I decided not to buy an American car in my life. EVER. So, be careful for what you wish for! I'm quite sure that going from Porsche to a Ford will be a difference in quality you never expected. I can understand Porsche is very costly to maintain in tip top condition, but I might consider other options. In my moderate opinion.

В Германии такие тачки тоже не часто встретишь. Я больше скажу: в Москве их можно чаще встретить, чем в крупных городах Германии (за исключением Штутгарта, где их берут десятками в прокат на час :D )

SJW Maniac aww someone's triggered. I'm a mechanic by trade and European cars are among the worst out there just to work on, get parts, cost to fix and service, and just terribly designed in general. Not just European made but anything designed by Europeans. Way over complicated
