I swear I got bored watching this year's preliminaries so I headed back to this. I have high respect for Thailand. Everything was perfectly executed.

Thailand is still the gold standard for MU production and presentation. I really want them to host MU again because they never disappoint.

It's already Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of the Miss Universe, and I believed that this edition, the 2018 Miss Universe, is by far, the most iconic, best production, best stage, most organized, girls and best Miss Universe we ever had. Thank you, Thailand for being the best host! Kudos to all the creatives and production staff for giving such a good show.

Thailand is a legend in hosting the Miss Universe stage.

Who's back here to appreciate how perfect Thailand hosted the show after this year’s disaster preliminary? The stage here was big enough, the camera shots were perfect as well to show every aspects of the girls. Unlike this year’s disaster, the slippery stage even made more than 4 girls slipped at the exact same spot and interrupted some of the girls’ walk for cleaning it up. Don't even get me started on traditional costume rounds. A total disaster.

Still the most legendary preliminary competition in miss universe ....

The Thai team has only 2 months to prepare for the MU. They don't have enough money. The government gave only a small amount and there was no profit, only a loss from MU. Just to promote tourism, without which the Thai team organization does not benefit. Remarkable for Thailand. I'm respect for Thai team that organized the MU event.

Be like if you are still watching it untill this year 2022 ... Best production ever thailand....

So far, this is the best runway and choreography of all MU competition conducted around the world. Well organized and fair competition. No traces of being unfair or having favoritism and or discrimination, not like some MU competition conducted which can be projected for some unfair rules and irrigularities. Thanks

Thailand really set the bar high. The quality and everything in this stage is so extra good.

The first slow-mo turn in MU history, just wow for this great performance of Catriona Gray. Plus the lava inspired dress 🌋 and how she portray her walk while wearing it She has stage presence, smart, and a kind attitude.

This 2018 edition has the best faces of all. If you pick randomly any candidate, she's still beautiful. 90% of these contestants have visual of the winner, the the diversity of them is amazing.

Why is this prelims round so much better than this years? So disappointed! I paid 20 USD for THAT?!?!? I'll gladly pay 20 USD for the 2018 prelims... but it was already free!!
