I actually quite like the previous Accord's interior design. The one letdown I feel is that like the Accord, the Perdana doesn't have a very in-depth multi-info display (it doesn't show fuel range, average fuel consumption, etc.). Thanks!

They were unfortunately not allowed to change the interior design of the car. But they did improve on the seat quality and definitely the audio quality. However as Alex says i do wish for a trip computer as i manually tabulate all the F/C calculations.

Faiz 489.. 9th Gen accord still using same engine in 8th generation accord.. That means it thrives on revs... But one thing.. 8th Gen accord got supple ride.. Unlike 9th Gen which is stiff and nimble

Shrinking a cars segment does affect it's proportions and looks. As the new Persona is a Notchback sedan. However the priority for the new Persona is practicality and value for money. And that is what they have done. The old Persona looks nice, poor packaging means it is cramped at the back and also it's boot space isn't as big as it should be.

UMW and Daihatsu have some of their shares in Perodua. It is a considered as a rebadge, not a copy. Just like what Proton did with the first generation Saga, a rebadge Mitsubishi Mirage/Lancer. The word 'copy' would meant that a company, release or sell things from other company without any kind of agreement. About Ford and Aston Martin, the former ones had also bought some shares in the latter one so, sharing a design is not considered as a 'copy'. You want to know what a copy looks like? Look at Chery and BYD cars, only these company really deserves the 'copy' champion title. Lol

Hello bro I am the owner of the Perdana. It's a 8th gen Honda Accord underneath so durability is definitely well and proven to be good.

I'm the owner of the car in the vid. So far i am averaging 11km/l in the city and above 16km/l on highways. If driven sensibly you should be able to average at least 700KM or more.

@@tengkushakir0072 definitely. I drove from KL to Penang then back to KL again for the video. Still felt fresh despite the long drive and 🔥 Penang weather. I would mod some extra soundproofing elements into the car though.

This car has keyless entry...most modern cars have keyless entry. I think what you're referring to is the smart keyless entry and start system of which the donor Accord doesn't have it, so naturally the Perdana wouldn't have it as well.

You can clearly see the cruise control controls at 1:32, I also point them out at 13:47. Whether or not the steering has chrome, it's individual preference. The steering wheel in this way is fine to me, as the less chrome, the better.
