Sylver Rainee There are nine Greek letter African American organizations called fraternities and sororities. In order to to be a part of them you must pledge in college or if you don't pledge in college you can pledge in an Alumni chapter, but in order to be in an alumni chapter you have to have a college degree. So we have fun with our steps saying little cute things about the other organizations. The ladies are Deltas, AKAs, Sigmas G RHO, Zeta.. the guys>Alphas, Kappas, Ques, Sigmas, Alphas, and Iotas. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta. These little ladies aren't my sorors, but they did a fantastic job!!

I really hope not to offend anyone but I have to speak because I know our history... Ijs! This is a predominantly black Sorority because historically, we started it! HBCU... Or Historically Black Colleges and University's have their Sororities and Fraternaties just like White Schools have them! I am here in the heart of NC and on the campus of NC State and UNC, there are historically black chapters and white because the schools are not HBCU. No one says you can't join. My advice is to do some serious research. Everytime Black/African Americans have something going someone outside the culture always wants in... Smh No one for hundreds of years wanted us here but wants in on our creations!
