Thanks for providing the link. I find the singing in Mandarin clear enough but the rapping in Chinese was not as clear. Overall, I can say that KZ did very well and her version is more rhythmic, vibrant and heartfelt. See you again!
My humble opinion is that she did a GREAT job. I understood everything that she was singing. The rap part in Chinese was fast, so was a bit more difficult to understand...but I am familiar with this song, so it was totally fine for me. I am not sure how long it took her to learn this new song, but WOW....;)
You know what you said u understood the mandarin part except the rap part.. I am a filipino and I am too cant follow her whenever she raps in tagalog or english. So meaning she did really great in the mandarin part.. 💙

It's hard to find an artist like her. Where do you find an artist who goes from genre to genre, from jazz to ballads to rock to reggae to rap, etc. and do it so well. Sing and rap in English, Filipino, Mandarin..it's amazing, really. And her respect and love for music is always apparent when she performs. You can feel it not only through her voice but also her energy and expressiveness on stage. Always such a joy to watch this talented young woman perform. :) And great reaction as always! :)
When you hear her sing you will never forget her because her style is unique...actually its a blessing that she could still sing now. When she was young she got a problem in her throat (polyp) which caused her to can't reach high notes unlike before. But she didn't gave up and tried to find her new voice (results to her kind of style in singing now). A big part of her standing up is Jessie J, she was her inspiration back then. Her new perspective is singing is not about reaching high notes, but the passion and heart you put in each every song you sing. Thank you for loving our Kz. Just wanna share her story to those who have no idea yet but still adores her voice. Yes she can't sing high notes, but it made her unique. ❤KZ

Man, liked your reaction and what you've said about Kz being world class. On a positive note Kz being eliminated in the contest while she has an opportunity to come back will actually work to her advantage in so many ways. On a bigger picture, she had already showcased her talent and captivated million viewers around the world with her own unique style. We can only imagine huge opportunities for her after the contest whether she bags or not the title. They should appreciate this kind of talent and knowing the fact that KZ doesn't speak Mandarin but she chose to sing in Mandarin to show respect to the Chinese audience and Chinese culture but nothing against them I also have a Filipino-Chinese blood.

And I agree that she didn't win because she's not popular, but when it comes to emotions and how to deliver a song, she's the best. I'm always looking forward to your reaction, sir! You took the words out of my mouth and I agree with you 101% about Ms. Kz Tandingan being a great singer and a genuine artist. Sure, the world has a lot of talented singers - those who can hit stratospheric notes or have booming voices but Kz is different because what she presented was way beyond what other performers give which, basically, is limited to their flair for showmanship. The fact that Ms. Kz took the time to learn Mandarin meant that this journey was not entirely about her. She was mindful of the audience thus tried her darndest to establish an intimate rapport with them. And for me that's what artistry is all about - it's connecting, and it's giving, it transcends the deafening applause to usher us to that quiet realization of a beautiful and meaningful encounter which makes for fuller lives.

I saw Jeric Tan's version of See You Again. It's good but KZ's version added appropriate emotion to the passages of the song. When silence is required it is solemn. The rapping part of KZ is so deliciously executed as per note and timing. You can eve slow down the music, it is perfectly done. Such a mastery I haven't seen not to be careless in its execution. She added the last part of the song to remind the audience the song is solemn to a friend who passed away.

Once again, I am teary eyed listening to this song. She is really amazing and a talented one. I wish the producer of this show will also ask the Chinese contestants and English or Korean contestants to sing in our language- Filipino (Tagalog). Let us see how good they will be. Just my opinion.

Hey GFriday!! The singer 2018 just released another performance of Kz being in it! I hope you can make another special friday video reacting to it. She did a wildcard performance which is when she sang in her language, the song is called ”Anak”. And she also did a performance with Jessie J and Coco Lee singing ”bang bang” she did the rap part and she also belted with coco and jessie. Thank you for your reactions!
