I always liked this gen Beetle, especially the models with the larger whale tail, 2.0t and DSG trans from the GTI. Having said that, just for curiosity I opened up autotempest to see what used models are going for...and some used car dealers are asking $30k or more for a Dune edition? Thats absolutely insane🙈 Once again, we're talking used..VW discontinued the Beetle a few years back, and I was looking at 2016-2018 year models. Are people really paying that much for a less practical used Golf? I mean it is true they look like nothing else on the road and likely gone from VW's lineup for good this time, but wow😮
