@@donjohnson365 He's a big man, 325 lbs. Not much going to push him back. That ZF trans is amazing, still too expensive to swap, but the 8 speed and 6 speed units are cheap to get and can take a lot of power.
This is actually pretty mind blowing. From what I saw the 0-60 was in the 3 second or lower range, insane! And the fact that you can put together a brand new truck like this for under 50k is even more mind boggling. Awesome video!!!!!
I timed it on a quarter speed and got a touch less than 2.5 seconds to sixty... Hate to be a terrible person but I don't think it's legit. Also, 120 came before 10 seconds which just doesn't seem legit whatsoever. As far as I know, these trucks should do 0-60 in about 3.3-3.8, not 2.5.

Ridiculousness that's all I got to say about that. I got 02 lightning man you leave it like it's backing up. I'm pushing 14 pounds of boost too. Im giving daughter my lightning for a college graduation present she likes anything low bad fast she knows more about cars than I do. Anything that's fast anyway. I'm not telling her about that truck though. Hopefully she don't find out LOL keep up the good work
I estimated 3.02 seconds 0-60 mph on the last run. I did this by slowing the video down to 1/4, then using a stopwatch and dividing by 4. This truck is awesome!

How is that thing running at 7500 rpm with the internals all Stock? That’s almost what my gt350 is Revving at. I work at a ford dealer and I’m going to build one like yours up here in Canada. I had a 1992 Lexus SC300 with a 2JZE engine in it. Speedometer what up to a hundred and sixty miles an hour stock. And that was on a straight 6. Naturally aspirated. And it would do every bit of that. Unfortunately, that was a daily driver. But I never got to take it down the track.

big mike if you don’t mind let me ask you something....I have a vibration at any speed I feel through the steering wheel like ball joints are bad. I have have the intermediate shaft replaced and I’ve checked all the suspension components like ball joints etc. checked wheel bearings. Idc what is causing this. Have you had any complaints of this. Stock wheels stock tires big tires didn’t change it still the same. It drives me nuts.
Got a 1991, 300-6,.......0-90, ooh about, 40 sec. Top end, it was 90,..fenders flappin in the wind , thought we were gonna fly. 275,000 miles and still haulin ass.
