How can there be කඳුල in Divinity? The divinity brings us hope and noy and not කඳුල! Where is the Joy of the Lord in that so called seed of divinity? The Book of Revelation tells us "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes". We are anticipating a life of Joy with the Lord and not a life of tears. Did Jesus sacrifice His life on the cross to give us the කඳුල? What is the purpose of this mega marketing of the කඳුල? Are we as followers of Christ expecting this so called කඳුල? No we expect the Joy of the Lord and for Him to wipe away all tears from our eyes. It is not difficult for this myth to be mixed with electronic music and pour it into the ears of people who do not know the Word of God.
Pl. watch the theme of this programme. It says clearly, not to indulge in your tears but to wipe away the tears. He is trying to bring the message of humanity and self worth to people through musical therapy. As a Christian I do not see any conflict with the teachings of the Lord.
@@Chrisanthie Wiping away tears is not something that we do. That is not what the Scripture tells us. St Paul tells us that we are a new creation in Christ Jesus and our past has gone and a new has come. He goes onto tell us that today we are seated in the heavenly realms with HIM. If we believe that thro His death on the Cross Christ has taken away every tear from our eyes then wiping away tears is not a human effort. The Book of Revelation (I do not expect you to have read the Book of Revelation as a good Catholic! as you all do not even turn to its pages) tells us about the Millennial Kingdom of Christ Jesus, when there will be no more death, no more tears and no more crying. Then it will be a time a little child will put his hand into the hiding hole of a cobra and no harm will be done to him. He will lead a lion. Lion and lamb will eat grass together. etc. We are a people expecting such a joyous time as born again followers of Jesus Christ. There is no need to market tears as this preacher does. St Paul tells us that today we are a new creation in Christ Jesus, our old self has gone away and a new image has come to us. He goes onto say that today, because of Christ's death on the cross, we are seated in heavenly realms. He further says "Rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice". He does not say weep and again I say weep. These childish stories are good for those who do not know the Word of God. This is not what the Word of God says. First of all, pls compare what he says is agreeable with the Word of God. Our human wisdom is not the answer to the problems of our life, but the Word of God.

You imagine you are already in the New Heaven and that New Jerusalem is at hand even before you get there, and don’t give a damn about the reality of life. Only a monster will be blind enough not to see the suffering in this world, which is caused by our sin. Christ has already redeemed us by His death on the cross, and we DO REJOICE in the resurrection of the Lord, and hope to be with Him when our calling comes, but that does not mean we can remain indifferent to human suffering while we live on earth. You do not even understand that our rejoicing in the Lord is a spiritual matter, and to give a helping hand to our brother to carry his own cross and to ease his burden, is as much a spiritual matter, which is expected of us. What kind of a Christian are you if you are so insensitive to human tears? SO YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN WIPING AWAY A TEAR OF YOUR NEIGHBOUR ? Is that what the Lord has taught us? Don’t only read The Book of Revelation, go read the Lord’s own words in the gospels. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.’ “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ I for I do not wish to be cursed into the eternal fire for refusing to wipe away a tear of my brothers and sisters. If you turn away from your brother’s tears and choose the path to the eternal fire, that is your choice. And don’t you remind us to read the Holy Book, because it is OUR BOOK, and we have read it long before you did. (And I do not expect you to have read any of the Books other than Revelation, because that is what keeps all the protestors going. ) I invite you to read ALOUD 2 Peter 3-16. The problem with you is that you have not read it. You do not talk about the few scriptures I pointed out in my last response, but avoid it nicely because you cannot get rid of this marketing strategy of this preacher. If not to give the only solution to the human suffering only Jesus died on the cross? So now as the Scritpure says we are a new creation in Christ. Though you do not want to accept that truth that cannot change in any way whatsoever what it says. The only answer to human suffering is accepting and believing in the Word of God and not marketing the "kanndula". Yes are right. I am a person who is expecting a new heaven and a new earth and the arrival of the New Jerusalem on this earth as the Risen Christ taught His beloved disciple John.
