Just wondering what parts were replaced ? It's only washer and shorter bolt? Bought a bike with this installed and wanted to remove it.

Have you found a compatible skid plate yet because I am considering these crash bars aswell but am worriedfor the skid plate and if I have to choose I think the skid plate is more needed.

Did you experiencing any vibration from 90 to 115 km ? I am facing this issue and I don't know if it comes from the lower engine guard since I installed them from the dealership with my bike

I don't have any vibration at all. You can try loosening the engine guards at all mounting points and then retightening them. Sometimes they can bind if not properly tightened and cause a vibration, but it's usually from the upper engine guards, not the lower.

Yes and no. I had a tire hit me on the highway that blew up on a truck and the lower engine guards saved the oil filter and engine block from being destroyed, along with my feet.

This system looks to ma as it can damage the engine mounting points in case of a fall ? Because it mounts in between the frame and engine ? If you see other syatems like HepcoBecker /RalleyRaid, the mount on top of the frame(outer side) and a spacer sits in between engine an frame mounting point. Only issue is they don't protect the engine and clutch casings so you might need an expensive R&G casings. Also the RR belly pan protection system mounts to the center stand bolt instead of lower engine mounts.

I suppose it's possible. I'm not completely crazy about the design myself as when I did have a semi tire explode and hit me, it bent the crash bars at the mount. It did not hurt the engine mounts, but the crash bars werent as strong as they should have been.

@@JackofAllMasterofNone This is crazy. Hope you are good. I am with RR skid plate. It is really strong and it goes to the centre stand mount. The great thing here is the two small sidebars they attached to the plate. I went for 1000 miles offroad. The bike went down a couple of times but everything was very well protected. Those sidebars protect the engine so well.
