with series 3 euro 6 of the abarth fiat introduced a new function in the ecu to keep sure the engine/exhaust emissions won't exceed the local law. So when you request power you sometimes end up with a total power loss for around three seconds. this may happen in the second gear, the third and the forth gear, sometimes one after another.

chris else Nothing on price that I could see. Performance is similar to the competizione, but you do have the new BMC filter. May give you slightly more I guess, but it’ll be negligible.

TheBnelo Hey! Difficult to say as they are both so very different. I love my Fiesta ST, but these Abarths are so much fun to drive! I did a comparison video with an Abarth Competizione if you are interested 👍🏼

It’s been that way since they launched over ten years ago...admittedly you might have thought they would have updated it by now. But then again the cars still have a five speed gearbox. FCA don’t really do investment 😂

Only mechanical difference between that and a comp is the proper lsd in essesse. Everything else is same

Essesse has the Akrapovic which is fully titanium and far lighter than the Monza on the comp. It's a small point maybe, but the Akrapovic would cost thousands to fit to a comp aftermarket and isn't an option.
