Sorry man I have now watched some of your older videos and have seen I am not the first. Anyways keep up the great selling with all the great information.
@@colonialairstream Yes, I always thought the same (I like Ray Romano, btw). I was going through all the Air Streams at the gigantic Tampa Super Show and thought I heard his voice as I was going through them......you're a good spokesman for Air Stream.
Best presentation I've seen. Gushy, repetitive, and low pertinent data irritate me. This is the most informative, professional presentation I've seen and heard! Thks!!
Pearl Caster, that’s because Patrick Botticelli takes his job seriously and is a real pro. I feel he sets the standard for the vehicle and trailer sales market. I’ve been watching Patrick’s videos for a couple of years, so I’ve seen quite a few comments regarding him and the Airstream product that he represents. I think there’s a Patrick fan club...
Mr Botticelli you’ve really stepped up your game. The best Airstream videos available. Looking fit and trim my good sir. And the video production quality is the best yet👍🏻
After carefully watching this video twice, I fail to locate the compartment where Mr. Botticelli will be stuffed in order to bring him along and explain all the options and features associated with this model. My wife and I both agree it would be much simpler just to have him along rather than scanning through this 45-minute video. Unfortunately, our two small dogs are quite possessive of the back seat of our Ford Explorer, so that is not an option. Two short trips should suffice, (or maybe one long one, say Alaska?) we would then return him to his dealership. Is this an option?
We provide a full hand on training session with a technician when the Airstream is picked up at our location. We also recommend spending the evening at our dealership in your Airstream to try all the systems.
Patrick I have said it before and I will say it again, you are the best in the business! Great job, you know your Airstream product inside and out! Love the hair cut and the shoes by the way..lol. Have a great day!
No joke! Airstream needs to hire him to be their national spokesman, marketing guru. He needs to make these videos for every unit at every dealership sold nationally AND should get a residual commission on every unit they sell. I want to buy a unit in Texas and have Patrick make the commission. 😎
I agree, I love listening to you Patrick, excellent review and reminder of things I must care for in my new Airstream I bought last year, I did take the 19' tour with you.
People that complaining about the price are the same that later buy the cheapest rv trailer and upload videos about how cheap made is it. Check in Craig lists there are 40+ years old airstream trailers. This is the kind of trailers that probably will outlive you if taken care of.
Yeah, my grandparents used to have one of those old ones from when it was new for quite a few years. Nice trailer, as long as you didn't mind baking, freezing, and corrosion (between aluminum and steel components--dissimilar metals, just like on this one). They replaced it with a Holiday Rambler which did much better with thermal performance in the mountains in the fall. Paying big bucks for style and name is fine if that's what matters to you.
Great little bug out trailer....just me & the dog! I don't think wifey would be too happy though. Great review! NOBODY does them like Patrick. And folks, no Airstream dealer can come close to Colonial. After searching around, my friends from California came here to NJ to trade in their 27 for a brand new 30 International.
I love the Airstream design. Good presentation. Patrick bears a very familiar resemblance to the actor, Silas Weir Mitchell, from the tv show GRIMM. Sorry but I had to say it....
We really enjoy your in-depth knowledge & thoroughness in demonstrating the Airstream brand on video. Other dealers should pay you a referral because you do a great job up-selling the brand for them! Great Job!
JK 241 - Consider used, Airstreams are a bit more, but you will have less problems down the road and a better ownership experience. I’ve owned a few others, cabinets that collapse from the weight of can goods, plumbing that comes loose, TVs that break away from the wall, and mattresses soaked from driving in the rain, there’s a long list. You’re either going to pay a few bucks more up front, or pay later in repairs, ruined vacations, etc. Airstreams aren’t perfect, but they are WAY better than 90% of everything else out there.
You cut you hair Patrick, since the last time I saw one of your videos. The cut looks sharp! Great job as usual! You give the most informative walk arounds and tours of any vehicle salesperson. Having been in sales for about 35 years, I would buy an Airstream from you, if in the market!!
Great video. My first time watching. Are airstreams All season? I know there is an air and heater, so wondering how it will do in hot and cold weather? Sorry don't know very much about Airstream. I am just trying to figure out which type of trailer I will purchasing. Thank you
Lucy, Airstreams have heated tanks and enclosed underbellies for unexpected drops in temperatures. The design allows for a 7 degree threshold of protection.
I really want to buy this but my local dealer doesn't have one in stock. Says I have to put a deposit down if I'm serious. Im not happy with their service and I wish I could buy from Patrick but im in Vancouver Canada. Ive never owned an RV or trailer before and I think this is a great investment and a great size for all I would ever need. Its just my wife and I and this is perfect.
Martin, Thank you for watching. This model is in short supply in North America. I currently have a few in stock and would love to do business with you.
The information Patrick shares in this video has been so helpful to me over the past couple of years as an owner of this model. Whenever I have a question, I refer back to this and can count on answers to my questions. He covers nearly everything.
I've considered moving away from the Bay Area in the next 5 years, but I want to enjoy baseball season with my A's. I could drive in, stay at my son's local or catch the farm teams.
Love how these are the most retro you can get with all the most updated modern conveniences which is still retro since being as modern as you can get was the selling point back then too! The best part of the retro aspect I see is the proper overengineeering of the build true to the original.
Will a 2000 2 WD xttera pull one of these and I believe I should get a engine with a 5 yr warranty before I get the camper ither way its gonna take me a good while to come up with the money for one just need to know if this or basecamp would be best for my vehicle I want this if it'd tow it my engine is in a used vehicle with a used engine I got 280 thousand miles on it the fuel pump just went out I just come up with an idea for NASA but idk that they could use it if it'd work or if it'd get me any money I need a job I guess I draw disability but I want one of these or an older of the same model cheaper one or something I'm really love the bambis
What an amazing walk through you did!!! Enjoyed the video footage very much, so much information that was clearly stated and explained. Truly professional job, Thanks so much, stay safe, this is Alan from Riverside California wishing you the best.
Such a nice walkthrough! I'm in California so I won't be buying from you, but I can't believe I watch the whole thing. I just wanted to give you a tip. Very Good Job Patrick!! Very Good Job! Thank You.
Thank you for the thorough walkthrough. I purchased a 2019 Sport 16RB in January. The dealer, NW Airstream in Covington, WA did a walkthrough, but it was rushed and left a lot out. The trailer was delivered to my home without a waste hose storage tube. I asked that they provide me with one. They did after consulting with Airstream. The fact that is lacking the tube was not identified during the walkthrough. The items you identify as coming with the trailer were no included. They are the fresh water hose, electric adaptor, gas grill connector hose, hitch coupler lock, and starter kit. I'm very happy about finding your You Tube presentation. What should have been included in my walkthrough but wasn't, was included in yours. I'll be discussing these things with my dealer and perhaps with Airstream.
David thank you for your message. Some of the items you mentioned are included at the dealer level but not required by Airstream. I am confident your selling dealer will work out those details for you and you can suggest the representative that performed your walk through to watch my video.
Several questions: first can you see the tv from, table? Second, how will a 6’4” person fit in bathroom and under A/C? Finally, I require a C-Pap machine, how can I get power outlet at head end of bed? Thanks and good video
This guy knows his stuff, how refreshing. Towing with a Model X, the propane appliances could be swapped out for electric, including a heat pump for AirCond/heat (I think Airstream has those in other models) and an induction cook top. 4 or 6 300 Watt solar panels could be stowed in the aisle, but would need a rack to mount them. 1.2 kw system would give you about 10 kwh/day of juice, which is a lot. The Model X can tow up to 5000 lb so moving up to the 21 foot abode would be quite nice.
I noticed some posts, say Sport, and some say Bambi,I’m new to this so is the16ft.(Sport)is the same model as the Bambi?Even with the Sport logo,it’s still the Bambi model.
I like the new(ish) haircut! I've watched several of your Airstream vids...all great! I really like the Sport model. I lived in an Airstream back in my 20's and I really liked it.
I really like this model. I’m currently saving my pennies to buy one of these cash. I’m hoping the 3.6l v6 blazer will be able to tow this when it hits the market.
I just had to let you know that this is the first walkthru I've watched all the way thru! Excellent job keeping on topic, with valuable pointers and explaining much of the "why" behind them. I enjoyed every minute and will always search your channel for walkthrus first...and if we decide to buy Airstream, you will be our first call. Very nicely done!
This thing is a brilliant design and an incredible unit. And your presentation was excellent. This is what RU-vid was invented for. Well done. I want one now. Gonna get one when I retire, for my prospecting trips.
This guy is great at his job! I just watched a half hour video on a trailer that is way out of my price range for its size! Best set up small camper I have seen, but way to pricey for me!
Love the new Sport’s smaller design and amenities. This makes #vanlife look #nuts! I know it’s pricey, but the quality is unmatched And I’ve said it before, but Patrick makes the best RV demonstration videos in the business.
Question for campers.. Does anyone really use microwaves these days? With all the great compact toaster ovens these days why have such a nice campout to have a microwave to ruin your food??
I don’t know how anyone else can sell airstream trailers! Airstream should just let him make all the videos for all the trailers, then the customer just picks it up at a local dealer. The dealers should have to attend training with him before they hand over the trailer to the customer. This guy is that much better than anybody else! It’s not even a second or third place! He’s simply the best! 💯 % period!
Colonial Airstream I’ve been interested in airstream trailers since the 80’s late 70’s. I just couldn’t understand how I could afford one. Now at 59 years old I’m going to find a way in the next year or so. I listen to your channel in auto play for hours at a time while driving my truck over the road. I like the 22 fb Bambi. I’m going to figure out how to afford it in the next year or so. Till then I’ll keep watching and listening. Thanks for your response.
The Airstream seems to be an amazing company making high quality trailers and motorhomes... I always loved the look of them... but wow... Did he say U.S. $47,000.00?... On today's currency conversion that is Canadian $62,362.... I paid Canadian $96,000.00 for my three story 2010 square foot townhouse... so I guess I got a pretty good deal on my home... It boggles the mind how different costs are for various dwellings and mobile units.
I have to admit that I am with the Airstream needs to hire you crowd. It just seems so simple and easy when you do your videos. I have watched others and it's like nails on a blackboard. They don't know the product to the degree that you do, and they certainly don't have the enthusiasm that you possess. Well done. My friend and I both agree that when we purchase our Airstreams, we are flying to Colonial to buy them and then road tripping back to Colorado. (Badass shoes by the way)
I am not impressed, there would be a cold day in hell before I paid $50,000 for a 16 foot camper. And $1200 for 80 W of solar, that is ludicrous. I know airstream is top-of-the-line but I could see all types of mistakes or sloppy craftsmanship in this video.
Favorite part of this video is...the dudes name Patrick Botticelli. That is a sweet last name! "Hi I'm Pat Botticeelli, I am going to sell you something today. How can I be so confident? My last name is Botticelli. Come on you know you love it!"
