2019 Audi S3 Review - Better than Golf R? 

Yea I wish we could get the RS3 hatch here

Focus RS's fischer price interior makes it a no-go once you've sat in an Audi S3, complete non starter once you've owned anything with a respectable interior. That's saying something for an otherwise amazing machine. It's interior is more worse than it's performance is amazing. Great job Ford. Smh.

There’s literally no comparison between an RS3 and Focus RS. Not in power, interior and of course price. There’s about a 25k-30k difference. The S3 vs RS3 is the better comparison.

Yea the quilted seats are amazing

I actually much prefer the standard seats over the "upgraded" seats, because they're power. The quilted seats look awesome, but losing power functionality was a deal killer. I move my seat quite a bit depending on how tired I am after a days work or what kind of driving I'm doing. And yes, I actually drove one with the manual seats for a few days so I'm not just saying...I actually have experience with both. If you're a set-it-and-forget-it kind of person, that's great. With manual seats, there's often that in between setting that you just can't get with manual adjustments...too close, too far, too upright, etc.

@@Bones43x For sure, it’s totally just a preference thing. I prefer the weight savings of the manual seats, and lower seating position (I’m 6’2”, so head room is a valuable commodity haha), and the quilted seats look amazing to me

Generally I would say the same thing but the DSG transmission is so good that I would consider it

Might do an S5 this year

It’s really not that expensive. The only things that is expensive is the major maintenances at 40k miles. But other than that I spend like less than 500 a year for oil changes and other filter changes

I have a 2018 GTI. Is it worth getting a 2020 S3 with 9k in rebates? GTI has been extremely reliable and I spent two grand on my sound system in it.

@@gustavopaulette3496 not really worth it if you get stage 1 on GTI. Sure the audi has quiter cabin but not by much. Honestly I'm fustrated I can't use audi power half the time. And when I do, I'm drivong illegal speeds

@@gustavopaulette3496 if I were to upgrade in terms of value would be the Golf R. Audi s3 fully loaded you LOSE the space in the back...it really is limiting...

@@istudy9 unfortunately they don’t make a new Golf R now. I’m looking at the S3 since they’re offering me 10k off msrp so the price is great and with the red leather seats it looks amazing 🤩. If I don’t get the Audi S3 I might wait for the 2022 WRX STI

I don’t know if it’s a VW/Audi thing but the TPMS in my 2015 VW golf is pretty sensitive and outside temp changes always trigger this warning.
