Reason I went for the GSA over the RT was the leg room. With a long inseam I just can't get as comfortable on the RT. Heard others have also made that choice for the same reason.

Agreed. I'm 6'1" and enjoy the extra room. I haven't logged an abundance of miles on an RT, but there is definitely more room on the GSA.

I'm sure the high end is impressive over the 1200. I didn't want to hit er too hard... not my bike.
