Quite a car! I imagine that there is also quite a bit of hand finishing on the body and interior, not just the engine. It is clearly a collectible..but with a very narrow audience. Excellent review!
This is my next V car if i can find one at a good price. Ive had a 2018 for 4 years and absolutely love the car no issues at all, i like this and the CTS V better that the Blavkwing, just not a fan of thr hatchback
I have a black on black one with 27K Miles. It is a joy to drive and when you drive it calmly on a trip it gets 30MPG, with the 4 wheel steering it parks like a much smaller vehicle. It absolutely the fastest stopping vehicle I have ever owned, stops as quick as my 2003 Z06 and I can actually get out of the car after a long ride. I am very blessed to have been able to buy one new in 2019. I plan on keeping it for some time and predict it will hold it's value.
Have you had any mechanical or software issues with your 2019 CT-6V? I really like these cars but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on one as I owned a STS-V with a one off hand built Cadillac motor and it was a nightmare to maintain, service or find parts. I love low production cars but the risks are so high. If they would have simply went the CT-5V and put a LT-5 engine that’s in lots of gm platforms it would have made it more marketable…
@@cameronjohnson3507 I have had no issues with the drivetrain or software issues. They did make a couple of thousand CT6 Platinum with a retuned version of the engine. Gene Banks bought one and seems to be happy with it as it is his daily driver. The thing to be prepared for is the cost of an oil change, 10 quarts of 0-40 Mobil 1 runs about $150 . Bremo brake pads are pricey and rotors run $1400 . So far so good
This def aint your grandpa's cadillac. For the softness described, it def can be Fix with a tune. Def a rare bird and a with some minor tweaks can be a great performance sports sedan. A full sized one at that.
