And THAT kids is how you do an encore ladies and gents. THAT is how you connect with the crowd. I have absolutely NO DOUBT that somewhere in that crowd, a kid just got motivated to try out for drum corps because he or she wants to be just like these performers! Well done Cavaliers... Uncle Don is no doubt smiling and chomping on his cigar in Heaven watching this!
@@punkaton5959 And this is exactly why I loved playing the Mellophone. It took 3 really good trumpet players to keep up with the sound I could put out of my Mello.
As a former Mello player in my High School band, I approve of those mellos😂. Dang I miss playing mello, may look at joining a Corp one day just to March again
This is just an awesome performance I just can't describe in words. Sending this to my brother, a professional guitarist who only does weekend gigs now.
I love all these guys and what they do. But... there is nothing Ike watching the contras roll up on shoulders. Wow. Thank you Don. Cant wait to get back on the fields.
I second Caleb Emery and Yagiii, and add that this activity is WAY harder (and more rewarding) than any marching band you'll ever be a part of. Think of your hardest marching band rehearsal, multiply it by 100, then do it for 80 days straight.
