I had the IDENTICAL boat except mine didnt have the TOP section red.. It was red from the black rubber trim DOWN.. But I really love the way this all red looks. Just make sure to keep her waxed up. I had to always be on top of mine to keep from losing the shine. Now I got a Cigarette one - 38 foot top gun now. Twin 8.7s with upgrades she has about 1500 HP. But sucks fuel like its going out of style :D
Thank you!! It is a pain to keep looking new but I wax it at least twice a year and it stays under cover when it’s not in use. Oh man! Love those boats! Any videos that you can share?? Would love to see it 🤙🏻
@@SteelCityRiderz What state are you in??? No, I dont have any currently although Im sure I will make something short at least one day. I have only had this for few months. Me and my dad went in on it together. He takes it if he wants, and I do if I want. But ends up being him wanting to go out, Then calls me, and since its at my house I have to get it ALL ready to go... Then he doesnt wanna go by himself so we go together.. LOL. Then come home and since Im a neat freak I cant let her sit salty and dirty.. So it turns into 3 hour wash down .and flush .. Boats are sure a chore.. You got to truly LOVE them. Ive had friends come out with ME on my boat and enjoy it SO much that then end up purchasing a boat, then only keep it for a couple years and sell it.. LoL.. because they dont realize the WORK that goes into it... With me they just come, hop on, have fun, then go home to rest... :D
What engine? 454 ? 496? I want to Procharge my 7.4 MPI but Im worried about the bottom end since its cast that year. Wish I had the older 454 Mag or 502. Agh 60 mph aint fast enough!
Really enjoy it. Not giving it up any time soon. I’ve owned it for 5 years now and love it. I like the 22zx as well but chose this over the Donzi since it’s a good all around boat.
CarGuy11 yes sir! Procharger M-1 (centrifugal). It has a 5lb pulley and Holley high flow fuel pump with an edelbrock intake manifold on it. Nothing real crazy. Makes somewhere north of 500 hp lol. It screams across the water...fastest I’ve gone was upper 70’s.
CarGuy11 when you’re into the turbo it likes gas lol. I’ve watched the fuel gauge needle move slowly towards E while cruising at that speed. It does 55mph at 3500 RPM. Boost doesn’t really start until 3100-3200 RPMs
