This is the Ford Ranger Gen. 5 engine cover, direct OEM part from ford. This shows the before and after sound and looks. I noticed the idle sound to be much quieter outside and in the cab, the look is also more complete. The cover comes standard on Lariat models only and can be purchased and installed separately for all other models. I have a 2019 XLT in the video. Install includes 2 bolts and 2 nuts. Install took less than 5 minutes was super simple.

Oh yeah I put one on mine I wish they would have done it at the factory the only ones that get it is the lariat package should be across the line

Ohh I didn't catch that. Mines a lariat. Still noisy as hell, especially cold. Doesn't bother me though.

when driving you wont hear so much of the ABS chatter with the cover on, its 100% worth it. I hardly ever hear it anymore at red lights which is nice lol

On video not much, it person it's quieter, more noticeable once the engine fan idles down as well.

Maybe in person in sounds quieter. I didn’t hear a difference either.

Ford engines are very noisy. Not compared to Lexus engines very quite. My wife has an RX350 and I have the Ranger XLT big difference Buying the cover and hopefully it will make a difference
