This should give you your lane choices and an idea of where you need to go, if you are picking up or dropping someone off at the International Terminal for Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta. I hope someone finds it helpful.The signs on the Interstate are not that easy to see, if you are not familiar with the drive and are busy watching traffic. There WILL be traffic. Thanks for providing the extra information (text) as the journey progressed through the different stages. It was helpful, especially for those of us who perhaps aren't particularly familiar with the road layout etc.

I live in the ATL area and it's some of the WORST traffic in the whole country. I think Miami and NYC'S traffic is even worse. Just a lot of bad drivers in the ATL area.

7:55 Ah yes, the traffic of my childhood. I grew up in Georgia and now I live in Virginia and I honestly laugh at the people who think the traffic in Virginia is so bad, its a cakewalk compared to what I have grown up with.

Unless you live in Northern Virginia, that is. DC/Arlington metro traffic is no joke!

@@Ryan-on5on I actually do, just got out of Washington today, nowhere near as bad as Atlanta. Me and my family joke about how the traffic is so much better in Virginia all the time.

Driving to any airport in traffic its hard to read the signs/watch traffic so I always google print or memorized especially if its an airport you;er driving to for the 1st time .

Best answer is to look at maps and follow what I did - ONLY the last part is the same...Follow the route that goes around 285 video. Where you merge north onto I-75 and go one exit and get off to the international terminal - you will already be on I-75 (I assume) and heading north, so you just need to be ready when you get inside of 285 to exit. Be prepared for construction delays on I-75 before and at I-285. Best I can tell you.
