Relive the good times of the 41st Gold Coast Marathon on 6 - 7 July 2019! Over 26,000 participants from all over the world took on the flat and fast streets of the Gold Coast in search of personal glory.
Will Kenya's Kenneth Mungara take out his fourth Gold Coast Title? Or will it be Japan's Yuki Kawauchi to add to his 2013 victory? Perhaps the event will see a new men's winner in 2019?
The women's race is equally as hot with Australia's Milly Clark taking on some of the greatest in the world for a podium finish.

I ran in heaps of this races and it's the only race that makes everyone feel welcome and it's not a competition I love how the elites have their own little competition and other people work and run it at our own pace It's a really good and the organizers are wonderful

That is exactly what it takes to beat the Kenyans. Shitara had it going on today. Great victory. Whenever you beat the E.Africans in their discipline, you know you are one of the best.

yes but no self respecting east african athlete is competing in the gold coast marathon. The Kenyans here for example are virtually unkown. regular joes who probably jog for fun.
