Just for future reference you don’t have to completely remove the windshield screws if you loosen them just enough to be out of the way without completely removing them the windshield should come right off

If you like that 6” you’ll Love the 8 1/2”. The wind difference is night/day difference unless you just scoot around town. And it still looks amazing on the Bike.

I think the music has to go. I also think you should fast motion some parts like when you're just unscrewing screws. I think you can do good car videos and bike videos too. No need to limit yourself.

I started with the stock, went to the 9” Klock Werks, beat the crap out of me, then tried the 12” pro Touring.....worked great but a tad too tall. Just ordered the 14” sport flair as that is 1” lower in height than the 12” Pro Touring. I’m 5’9”. Don’t know how that 6” is going to be comfortable to ride with 🤷🏻‍♂️

So far the wind deflects air over me wearing a full face helmet. I am only 5'7 though.. With the stock windshield I got a slight flutter in my head from the wind deflecting off of the windshield and hitting my full face helmet. With this windshield, I did not feel that.

Gide the screw driver with your left hand so you don't gouge the paint! It was painfull to watch but looks good! You got lucky!

Mike Reid ya I agree you need a new helper. One, you didn’t need to remove the screws completely. Two, he almost scratched the fucking paint. That was close

I agree with ☝️. I ran the Factory 47 Signature 12” on my 17’ RGS and love them. Just bought a 19’ RGS and did the same bars in a 14” this time. Great bars!!!

It would seem that the '19 RGS has the gloss black finish on the top of the inner fairing where as the '20 is more of a gray matte finish with the gloss only being on the front of the inner fairing. This 6" windshield would seemingly expose that much more. Any update on how it performs being only a 6"?

Yes, that is correct. For 2020 they went back to the flat black inner fairing (I'm thinking for cost reasons) But yes, the windshield performs well for my height, but it is mostly to give the bike that sleeker look. If you are looking for a windshield from stock that will give you more wind deflection, then I would get the taller one..

The stock roadglide windshield is crap, I get bugs, sand, rain everything comes right at my face, worse than my softail with the bar mounted windshield need to get a flared windshield
