i never understood how reviewers tend to not find the styling that attractive. I think it looks PHENOMENAL! best looking suv in its class hands down. looks especially good in person. but i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, oh well
For test drives, there is no better channel out there. Im considering purchasing this, and this video, like all your others, really helped me to see what its real life acceleration was - something i was concerned about in the 2.4 model.
Thanks for this review! I purchased a 2019 Santa Fe 2.4L Ultimate about 3 weeks ago. I now have 1,100 miles on it, and agree with your assessment. It is a comfortable commuter. Fairly quiet cabin - some road noise coming from the driver sider a-pillar, and a couple of creaks from the moon roof, but nothing bad and I drive on rough surface streets most of the time. Overall, the 2.4L has enough power and the car is nice to drive. Lots of safety and tech for the price.
Hyundai genesis and kia is better than toyota and honda dont get me wrong i still love hondas and toyotas but hondas have the most ugliest design and bad transmission cvt ! i would pick toyota and hyundai over honda any-day but look hyundai has better warrantee better design and better futures and better sound system better transmisson! No cvt crap!
Excellent review! In your opinion is the power in the 2.4 adequate or excessively noisy or would you opt for the 2.0 turbo? Also would you opine as to the long term reliability of the 2.0 turbo over the 2.4? Thank you!
What is with some auto makers now and making the screen look as thought it was an after thought? They just slap a tablet onto the dash as if saying "Oops we forgot something".
i wish in canada they offered a top of the line 2.4L engine trim like in the USA. if you want to get the infinity sound system you have to buy the top of line 2.0turbo trim level aka most expensive version
Those lower profile tires on the Ultimate will make for a rougher ride than the 235/65's on the lower trims. Noisy ride and might account for the noises you hear.
This is much better than the 2019 rogue. CVTs suck generally speaking. I love my ‘19 santa fe, very few complaints. New 2021 rogue out now is very similar to the santa fe - I’d be curious to drive one and compare.
@@marki61422 right exactly which is why i said the santa fe is better. But the new rogue and santa fe are very similar now, so if you can deal with the cvt then the new rogue isnt a bad option.
Depends on what u want, both crossovers can't be anymore different. The CX-5 is much smaller with sportier driving dynamics and firmer ride. The Santa Fe is bigger with a softer ride. The Santa Fe lacks the steering feel and driving dynamics of the CX-5, but makes up for it in ride comfort. So do u want something smaller and sporty or something bigger with good ride comfort?
I really don’t like the looks of the Murano. Before the refresh was ok but now I don’t think it looks that good. I honestly think the Hyundai looks better and will have better reliability. If I had a choice I would take the Hyundai ANY DAY, but each to their own.
