Mighty beauty. Wish I had a fortune to drive this, the lights, the lines and curves, the electronics. Or maybe I’d just wait for ten years for a bargain.
leslie king I just got mine . Waited 9 and got a 2011 with the better engine supercharged and got the best value as it will fall very slowly from this point and still faster than most anything out there AND everyone thinks it’s new bc mine is mint and they have not changed unless U know what to look for . Most can not tel
Am I the only 30 year old man who actually likes this car? Anyway I don't think this music fits the XJ feeling! Something more "relaxed" is appropriate
@Dojocho let me know more about it! Do you mean that even though there's a lot of technology and it's a long luxury saloon car, it's unreliable? Has the Tata Motors ownership influenced negatively on the Jag brand? Do you enjoy your XJ without coping with many matters?
The styling is so graceful inside and out. I’d take the XJ over the 7 series or A8. The only car that I’d consider a competitor would be the Panamera. IMHO, the S Class is too much of a chauffeurs car.
Hi I have this car which I bought here in England. Mine is the XJL Autobiography. Which is identical to this one. Where is this car and do they do the Autobiography version.
@@AIAndCar Im not sure i kive in NYC overnight the luxury black car sedan market adding these to their fleets some canceling mercedes leases. Many ny & nj customers owned them then i saw an influx of Audi & BMW in the luxury sedan market , companies not using this car but showcasing the Merc 600 & the BMW 7 series
I absolutely love this car! 🥰 The exterior may not have changed in years but I think it is timeless and beautiful! The interior is luxurious and I love the Jaguar emblem that is embedded into the head rests, the massaging seats.....everything. My dream car that I hope to be able to buy one day. Thank you for showing this late model in a video. ❤️❤️
Jaguar...I have fallen in love with your new 2021 Jaguar F type R....Having viewed this beauty. I will have one of each. This will be perfect when the guests come. Give me a cost on both with an enticing flare to match your superb styling.NICE WORK!! 5.2020.
If you all see someone owns this car that means his income would be pretty income.really it isn't so precious car .but he is a reliable car for valuable driving.
Yeah sure!! This music actually doesn't match the feeling of this wonderful car!! The videomaker should have put something more relaxing! Kind of a piano bar sensation, if you know what I mean!
The leather on the XJ dashboard comes from the large Alpine breeds in southern Germany/Austria/Switzerland area. It is processed from the raw hide by an Italian tannery of high repute in the leather centre of Arzignano. It is accepted as being the highest quality leather because visually, it is used in the driver/passenger line of sight, so much be devoid of practically any natural defects. To avoid the ravages of high temeratures and UV rays on the dashboard, the leather has to go through a pre shrinking process otherwise it would shrink and pull away from the dashboard substrate. It generally takes about 6 weeks to turn a raw hide, with fat, hair, and manure on it, into that beautifull, soft, aesthetic, durable, practical leather. The leather panels are cut and sewn together as a complete cover, then sent to the instrument panel manufacturer in the UK where it is fitted to the instrument topper pad which in turn is assembled to the whole unit, includimg air con unit, infotainment system, dials, vents, etc., before shipping to Jaguar. The same quality leather is used on the door top rolls which are also subject to high heat and UV loads. The centre console, lower door areas and seats all used a leather commonly referred to as "Nappa", leather, this is softer because it does not require the pre shrinking processs as the heat and UV load is lower in those areas. The hide comes from cattle that are reared for beef. The hide is removed at the abattoir and sold to the tanneries. No animal is killed for the hide as it is worth only about 3-5% of the value of the entire animal, it is the beef where the money is. Do not believe the animal rights BS on that subject. If t was not used, it would go to landfill. What a waste that would be.
Nice scary music . However the scariest part was not knowing if your kid was going to jump in or not and continually mess up your footage . Gave me anxiety . 😅
I really like these... I REALLY do! Jaguar has such a bad reputation here in the states. All British and German brands have high maintenance costs. I'd rather drive this than a 7 series, A8 or S-class.
I think the inside looks clean and stately. Most importantly it doesn't look like Mercedes, BMW and Audi which all look alike. But from bmw a crystal gear shift and push start would be nice. Perhaps glass / crystal ambient lighting in the speakers, a copy from Mercedes I think
The rear screens are not in the headrests. They are deployable. They fold down out of sight when not being used. Watch again. You'll see the other screen folded down into the 'hump' on the back of the seat above the table.
Razvan Dobos That’s cool! But do you OWN one?! My point is; it’s best to speak from EXPERIENCE! I own an XJ supercharged, and I’m not saying that to be braggadocious. I’m saying it because no matter what you CALL this vehicle; I’d MUCH rather drive a Jag, than an ACTUAL Ford Taurus.... IJS!
That's a Ford Taurus with Jaguar cat. Awful. Did you pay more than 25K for it? Buy a real Jaguar! You can't have mine. It will be my last...now they are junk. Keep them India!!!
This car is a 2.0 out of 5.0 for reliability. Fun to drive but not for long term. Lots of shop visits with this one. And quality of interior lack compared to other luxury car.
greyxkr EXACTLY! I can’t imagine that anyone trash taking this car actually owns one. I’ve had my XJ supercharged almost a year in June, and have not had any issues whatsoever. The interiors leather is easy to keep clean and maintained; more so than any other car I’ve ever owned. Folks always want to talk smack about a car they’ve never even owned!🤷🏽♀️
Beautiful car, granted the music has me thinking some spies are going to jump out of the trunk and start shooting, BUT...I am a Jaguar fan. Are the doors soft closing? What about Ambient lighting? What about heated and cooled cupholders?? What about the lighted door sills?? C'mon!! Show me some of the luxury perls that'll male me want to run out and buy this car, just to show off to the peasants in A Honda!!!! SHOW ME SOMETHING!!! lol. Beautuful car though.
Ford did own Jaguar for a while, but then sold out to Tata an Indian company in 2008, though the current hatchback shape XJ was originaly designed by Ford who where determined to get away from the traditional 4 headlamp XJ6 look.
@@andywolf100 Interesting proposal. But it was Ford who insisted on the X-Type as a mini 4 headlamp XJ on the Mondeo platform. Possibly the worst Jag and most in-Jaguar Jaguar ever. However, Ford did 'move' Ian Callum from Aston Martin to Jaguar and Ian Callum drove the new Jaguar look.
