I test drove a 2019 Forte a couple of days ago, and I was blown away! I was really impressed with it - all the features and the way it accelerated. I'm giving it a good hard look, learning about it as much as possible. The new Forte is a beauty!
William Reed it’s a very impressive car!!! If you have any questions, just comment and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thank you for watching!!!
Just got a 2018 silver forte lx with the popular package gotta say I love it so much!! I love how it comes with 3 modes of drive and auto dimming rear view mirror and tinted windows!
Hi William, I know this is 2 years later but I am currently about to sign a new lease for my first car. It’s the 2019 Kia Forte manual transmission. I’m actually going to be learning manual with this car and hopefully it will go smoothly so that I can get into driving it around with ease. It seems like such a great car! How have you liked it?
Not really.. my girl has a 2018 Kia forte!.. she had a choice between both.. chose 18 becuz the new 19 transmission ivt or sumthin like.. I drove both.. & felt like recalls issues, etc that was the worry!.. & style wise I love both.. the engines also are nice good power with alota potential!.
Timbucktoo Rock , I just got a 2018 a few days ago. The 2019 is nice but what I got for my money I couldn’t get in a 2019, safety features aside. But I get very cold weather and more electronics means more to go wrong with time. I’m very happy with my 2018 and don’t see that changing.
@@SWARM_OF_GNOMES Got a '14 Forte5 SX in manual. Really wished I had the sunroof and HID and heated steering wheel but they didn't come with the manaul. Only 90,000 KM after almost 5.5 years. Saw the new '19 and sat in one and was impressed. Really want to trade it in but I'd get at most $9k. Paid well over $30K for my car and I think I'll see it to the end then get into a used Forte5 GT or possibly a Stinger. These cars last so that's going to be a long while.
People still don't want to drive a Kia, thinking it's the same ol same ol' Kia of yesteryears. I'd like to say that's good for us who do because then Kia keeps their prices competitively lower but if you spec out a 2020 Forte5 BASE it's the same as my 2nd from top of the line Forte5. Prices have increased a lot.
i hate it when dealers slap a front end license plate with their name on the front and ruin the bumper 😢 i just bought a 2019 Kia Optima S and i freaking love it!
@@TroyPaul16 How's the acceleration? Many complained about my Corolla's acceleration, and I don't have a problem with it. I drove a rental 2017 Hyundai Veloster, and it had slow acceleration. What is the oil change interval on the Kia Forte? For me it's every 10,000 miles with synthetic oil.
In 2022 our 2019 Kia Rio began to bellow white smoke that reeked of gasoline. After a little research I found that it had a fuel pump mounted to the valve train. Took car to dealer, and dealer said that warrenty was exceeded by mileage, and part not part of drive train, and not covered by drivetrain warrenty. New pump was going to be $1200.00 installed, and part backorder was going to be five weeks minimum. I asked if spun bearings due to gasoline in crankcase, and burning car were covered under drive train warrenty, and they hung up on me. Called corporate and they advised part was covered under drivetrain warrenty because contract is in owners manual which has no fine print whatsoever. For the sake of expediency I bought brand new pump from another manufacturer, for $150.00 which arrived in three days, and then spent ten minutes replacing pump. It has run fine until recently when Rio was stolen, and severely damaged when run over a curb whicvh broke engine from transmission plus window broken, column trashed, and wipers broken off because thief accidentally started wipers when breaking column to steal. Kia denied ever hearing of theft problem. Kia wqanted two hours troubleshooting to give estimate for repair. I said I already know what is wrong with car so just fix it. Then Kia at insisted we prepay repair bill before work began. I asked how they could possibly know what was wrong with car ahead of time, and that must be a new thiung where dealer wont fix car unless you prepay. Told wife to leave car at Kia dealer. Kia said they would have it towed away for being parked illegally. I called corporate who has brand new stolen Kia runaround line dedicated to irritating customers who have had their Kias stolen already, and they hung up on me. I called the Bureau of automotive repair filed complaint then they had me call the federal trade comission where I also filed complaint. Since my wife is Thai I called a local Los Angelus Thai language newspaper to see if they would do a survey of their Thai community who owned Kia cars, and they agreed (my wife knows the owner of the paper). Accidentally recieved phone call from Kia corporate in which they accidentally gave me a direct line right back to the woman who hung up on me. I called, and informed her of my actiopns. She said the whole thing is a misunderstanding on their part if I already had the insurance check in my hand, and NOW the dealership WOULD look at theft damaged car but my wife had to go in and sign a permission slip. Keep in mind Kia is required by a class action lawsuit to repair these cars, and pay all related expenses. My insurance company shouild not have to pay anything to anyone as Kia has been found responsible for fasiling to protect these cars from theft properly. My wife is making monthly payments on this car, and it has been damaged, and undriveable for three months as I write this causing us to buy another car. Considered renting one and backcharging Kia, but I am not an ass looking to make the reimbursement as expensive as possible for Kia, I just want them to fix it. They are dragging their feet at the customers expense, and are downright rude about it once you get them to stop lying. I have purchased two new Kia products lifetime, and will NEVER EVER buy another
Lots of left over 2018s...Forte LX with a stick....paid $12,465 (shipping included)...You can pay 7 grand more for the dazzling "chrome" grill and a handful of electronic sizzle and a couple inches here and there...if you buy into this "sales pitch".. go for it..
Does the Forte still have those engine problems like 2013-2016 models? Engine would use up oil and finally the pistons rings would collapse. Im not familiar if it was the same 2.0l engine as this era. Looking to buy a 2019 but im scared of the engine reliability.
I am too familiar with this item. I heard the this engine is different from 2013~ models. Naturally aspired instead of GDI engines which had problems. I own 2.4 liter engine and it is pretty reliable. I am also looking to buy 2019 forte or Elantra, which as naturally aspired engine, which is quieter than GDI engine with better reliability and longevity.
Thanks for the video, it was really helpful! Would it be possible to make a nighttime video showing off the lighting on the 2019 Forte and the differences between the trims? I've seen the LED taillights on an EX but it seems that the FE and LX have different designs. Thanks again!
I just got a white forte 2018! Such a great car! Smooth! Only thing he lied about is that they do not come with a spare tire unless you pay an extra 700 something dollars. Kinda lame. I they do come with an air compressor and fix a flat, but that shit don’t work.
They do only in the bottom end base model in los Angeles, i dont know why you didn't get one... i got one maybe by accident and i also got the stuff that you got instead of the spare.
Hey, thank you for watching my video. I just looked at the 2019 Forte again and it still has the 60/40 split backseat. Maybe the lighting of the video made it hard to see. Have you seen the 2019 Forte in person?
That safety shit rigged I was about 20 feet away the car started beeping and hit the break I hit someone’s bumper and it didn’t stop the car or beep it’s really not safe just annoying
A CVT is never an improvement. It's an inherently weak design. Even when they've been "beefed up" for heavier vehicles they are still more fragile than a regular automatic.
At 5:08 in the video you say that you get LED headlights on the S trim in 2019 this IS incorrect. LED headlights are an option on the S trim. And you're a dealer??
They are both pieces of shit! They will last for ten years top! I have a 2010 and it is now garbage! I am done with Kia! The service was great for 9 years. Starting right after, that changed along with the performance of my car.
