As someone who has had Wings on 3 ktms now I can say they are solid quality, my last bike had them on for what is now 14 yrs & they still look brand new, no loose rivets or staining on the sleeve. Top quality.👍
This video is so perfectly shot, exactly what I needed, thank you, I want this exhaust or the fmf 4.1 (for 701 husq to adapt) but I think it's gonna be better with the wings ! Thank you !
I have the wings on my smcr 2013 too. It sounds so perfekt with the small eater and looks legal what is pretty important in Germany xD Is there an exhaust system on the market or only the exhaust ? I never found a system. :/
Merci pour ce genre de vidéo, qui restent trop rare sur le net (test de pot d'échappement avec les différentes chicanes et surtout avec des prise de plans similaires) , je ne vois pas de différence entre la petite Chicane et sans Chicane...
I have this can on my 19 SMC r and I can't recommend it highly enough. Wings were a pleasure to deal with and the fitment, looks and sound are spot on.
WINGS exhausts are “plug and play”. No remapping is needed with or without the dB-killer (tested on a bike with no modifications other than a WINGS exhaust). check their website
@@grzegorzgrotkowski6575 I know what the website says but removing the db killer will make the bike run very lean. You'll sputter, backfire, fan running all the time..
Wait , I'm confused! So is the BIG DB-killer the quieter one of the two? Sure looks like it on the picture. I'm thinking of buying one from Wings with the "quiet kit" insertion but I', afraid that might be too quiet.
The larger one is louder (small DB killer). The smaller one is quieter (big DB killer). Have to think of it backwards. Small as in that it makes a small difference in noise reduction. big as in it makes a bigger reduction in noise reduction.
@@brianjohnkeating Even your reply has an ambivalence to it but to summarize: Small DB-killer is louder, bigger one is quieter - got it thanks! Will try mine out with the silent kit soon.
Yeah, it was confusing to myself as well when I was writing it hahaha. I have the small db killer in my bike. The larger spark arrestor. I wanted it to be as loud as it could be while still looking legal. It's so much lighter than the stock one and looks way better too.
Iam surprised how little difference it made on the "drive" with or without the Duffle! Seems like the biggest difference is just when you are sitting next to the bike and reving it... on your drive bys, I heard very little difference!!
I know this is a year old comment. But from my experience wings is a solid brand! Had akrapovic on my ktm, and while it was a bit lighter i had to repack that shit after 4-5000kms. And then re-do the rivets a little while after that. So what you get is shit quality but light from akra it seems for more than twice the price. Got a wings after that, works solid even after 4 years.
@RideN did you add a power commander to your bike? I have the same bike and have been trying to figure out which exhaust to get. this one is on my shortlist.
