Love how they call it tumbling as if it’s accidentally rolling down a hill instead of literally gravity defying incredible somersaulting haha,, they’re really good
"The 21 year old....The second oldest in the finals." Are you kidding me? There are people doing this who are under 21????? I'm still trying to learn to walk without stumbling from time to time.
All children should be taught this stuff. Sets you up for life. In my school sport was the only subject not streamed according to ability, and the PE teachers were so crap they went out of their way to destroy most children's interest in their subject.
This is called tumbling. Basically it's just "floor" and involves many different flips. Just like how in an artistic gymnast's floor routine they do a tumbling pass with a bunch of flips except this sport is just a tumbling pass minus all of the dance elements that come in a floor routine. It's basically just the exciting stuff :)
For someone who knows NOTHING about the technicalities and all that scoring stuff, Ethan McGuiness's first pass was AMAZING to me, especially the stuck landing.
What the hell? This is inhumane! I can't even follow them with my eyes much less do one of these salti. This was insane! Props to these guys who spend most of their time training.
@@Craiger62 it's muscle memory, you don't think when you do stuff like this. As a guitarist i can confirm, you only think in places where you need to focus the most and deliver without mistakes.
I agree. The balance beam blows my mind. Doing all those tumbling skills on a piece of wood the width of a playing card. Meanwhile I fall over walking to the kitchen
At first, I read "tumbling" and thought "what weird crap did they come out with as a fake sport?", instead it's top-notch gymnastics. Really impressed. Even if their landing isn't perfect, what they do before is incredible for me
I been in gymnastics for many years and even teached , We did not have the equiptment the young guys have today more like a long trampoline . Tumbling today is on a different level , impressive .
My compliments and kudo's to each and every one of them. I could hardly do a somersault in high school gym class. These young men are brilliant athletes. How on earth do they keep their balance as they twist and turn and flip over and over so many times in such a short amount of time? It's just brilliant performance coming from hard, hard work to develop these skills to an incredible level. May they all be very successful in life as they were all so successful here in this sport.
these guys could be the start of a new MARVEL UNIVERSE. No special effects needed. They're the perfect super heroes - hot athletic bodies, handsome faces & incredible physical abilities. Absolutely jaw dropping
Love watching both male and female tumblers. Why is it still not part of the Olympics! More exciting than the same old boring beam/bars/vault etc routines that they churn out year after year.
This event is insane. I've never seen this before. The g forces they must be going through to make their faces so red. How they can do so many so fast is awesome.
@@hannibaljustincase9985 why do you think that? I've experienced single front flip impacts on my knees and they aren't funny, I can't imagine having these impacts every day for more than an hour. I am sure artistic gym is way better to the goings than tumbling
@@pepepancho6487 I guess because you can train most of your elements on trampolines? and even after they upgrade to this competition track, they still do just a few elements, far less than artistic gymnasts
God I love that song. Even my most masculine straight dude friend from college loves Beautiful Stranger 😂 And it is perfect for any time someone gorgeous comes "tumbling" into your life
It's amazing that they can propel themselves up in the air as fast as they can with just their own momentum and no outside forces contributing to the speed in which the are able to get up to.
It’s fascinating because you can tell that their commitment to the sport during puberty has permanently stunted their limb growth. Tumblers especially take heavy hits to their joints and have many complications later in life. Most gymnasts, both male and female, sacrifice so much of their childhood as is. Knowing that their dedication also prevails over the body’s natural course is impressive but also a tiny bit sad too.
No its just that those proportions help in this sport they don't look like this because they trained this they trained and did well because they look like this.
It's a stunning sport to watch, in fact it's kind of scary at the same time. If you think about it, any of these guys are just one mistake away from a broken neck.
@@DhirarEmir how do you not understand? They mean that all the flips the people are doing is the correct way to go though a Taco Bell drive through. I for one agree
