2019 Maserati Levante GTS - Has The Ferrari SUV Arrived? 

So the Maserati Quattroporte video is not uploaded yet. Expect to see it posted soon, maybe end of this month. Hope you guys enjoyed our first Maserati video, we definitely much preferred this car over the Quattroporte... makes us excited to see what is coming for this brand in the coming years!

Everybody can criticize this car for its interior quality, technology, and the interior. But you can’t argue about the exterior styling, Maserati logo, power, and exhaust

I think it's good that unimportant FCA parts like turn signals and infotainment screens are shared because it makes the lavante more familiar for every day use

Excellent review, Sofyan! The Levante definitely seems like a very luxurious and performance oriented Crossover. Some of the part sharing is a bit disappointing, but at least it doesn't look too cheap. Nevertheless, that exhaust note was absolutely mean sounding!!! From one reviewer to another, keep up the great work, Sofyan!

I think this is a sharp car...a bit out of my price range but went for the Jaguar F-Pace Prestige. Love it. I also considered the Alpha Stelvio but liked the Jag better.

Great review as always but please remember to turn off the hazard lights next time you do an interior tour. Clicking sound in the background was distracting.

Hi Sofyan! The central armrest has a very small space inside because of the 4 zone climate control (if you choose the normal two zone, it's bigger and cooled). This car has rear heated seats, but the controls are in the lower part of the door. Ps. I drive a Levante quite often (2017, so obviously not a GTS) and I think that you did an excellent review, you pointed out every single good and bad aspect of this vehicle! Bye 👋

Some how i feel like this car aside from the front end is very 2005ish. I cant wait for the next generation of this one already. They need to make the vents on the side like the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Body vents instead of chrome pieces. take more notes from the DBS and the JGC. Muscular and angular.

This is a very beautiful and looks powerful SUV. The interior is premium, I don't see any bad thing about this car except probably the infotainment system it's a bit outdated, for sure it drives and handles very well.

I'm thinking of buy used 19' Maserati Levante.

The price is high until you get $20k off. Got an ~$87k Levante for ~$64k. I love it.

I like the small size of the touchscreen, it avoids the tacked on pepboys appearance, it would be even better if it had a cover or could be hidden. I hate the night time distraction.

it really depends what your looking for in my opinion the levante looks better but the stelvio q has better value, they both drive nicely but can be sporty and engaging, no one is better than the other theyre both amazing cars in their respective ways

There is something odd about the wheel well shape/spacing from the tires. It is not even all the way around. The gap appears much larger at the top and at the front/rear of the tires.

That interior is something I would expect in a top of the line Altima, not a 100k vehicle!

hopefully when they make the new model they include their version of the big screen from the ram at least!

Seeing all the crossovers available, It seems to be very difficult to design a cross over rear end that does not look like an old Daewoo hatchback.

I had those same window switches in my 2007 Dodge Nitro.

The window controls look nice enough. Really don't care if it's in another car I don't ever see.

Get a loaded Ram 1500 and save 60k. You'll even get heated and cooled rear seats, not to mention way more practicality.

"Shares parts with the Grand Cherokee". Some switchgear? Likely. Platforms and architecture? 100% Maserati, which is a re-engineered Ghibli/Quattroporte architecture. I don't understand the hate for the Chrysler parts sharing when the VAG brands still share down from $20k Jettas in Audis.

From what I remember reading it was supposed to source the jeeps chassis but was in Gstaad built on Ghibli platform. Disagree on the infotainment. The uconnect base is one of the best in the business. There's nothing to improve except a bigger size but why? Is perfectly. I have 2nd thoughts when I think of giving up my uconnect.

I like that car, and i like Maserati. They make very cool and exclusive vehicles. But the price is much to high.

The market is over saturated with crossovers and 2 liter turbos just the latest trend that needs to end.

This seems like the better car in the maserati fleet. But I think as far as FCA sport suvs go, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and Stelvio Quad are better, less expensive options

A spare wheel that's not full-size means that this is not a genuine SUV - at least for Australia where we have some very big distances between places.

I hope Audi sends you an new A6, or a current S6 to review.

I think the 8.4 screen is fine tbh, uconnect is a good system, and the 12in screen from the ram they couldve fit has all sorts of problems. Wish the dash was fully digital though, that seems out of place for any luxury car not just a 120k one. The exhaust is absolutely incredible. Overall it's too expensive compared to larger, more powerful competitors (x5m & gle63s). In 2018, the "Maserati" badge doesn't give any right to jack up the price above Mercedes and BMW products. Maybe 10 years ago but not now. Even though the closest competitor is the cayenne turbo (not turbo s), Porsche quality is still miles ahead of Maserati and the price should reflect that.
