The springs are the right ones, they are designed to stretch and hold tight

I've had the same exhaust on mine for 1.5 years now. I had to take it back off at first and use gasket maker on the connections because there were small leaks. I noticed a small loss in power at first but I got the ECU flashed for it and now it's back to normal. I wouldn't say I have any more power but the bike looks and sounds way better with the same great original performance for a fraction of the cost of other exhausts. I call that a win.

You need a spring tool. I'm surprised it didn't come in the kit.

That bracket might be to hold the muffler to the frame

Bike looking awesome bro, i talked with a bike dealer and he told me that he had multiple customers who came to him with bikes that had burned out the top of the pistons because they had changed to aftermarket exhaust that did not have o2 sensor, i think he mentioned something about the bike running lean and thats why it happens an ecu tune might also solve the problem.

Seriously, does any other bike sound as good as the MT-07 with an aftermarket exhaust?

Use some grease on the gaskets and then show em up there😂. Much easier to fasten the headers then

ECU remapping is compulsory bro since you’ve changed the whole system, otherwise your exhaust valves will fry
