It's a Kei car. It's not designed to compete with anything but other Kei cars. Plus it'd never pass a crash test in just about any other first-world nation (just in case "reading" and "inference" are difficult concepts for any of the RU-vidr peanut gallery out there, no, that does not imply that I said Japan is not a first-world nation... in fact it clearly infers that Japan is among the first-world nations... but this is RU-vid so I have to type stupid shit like this, just so I don't have to reply to extraneous comments from the endless hordes of RU-vidrs who can't read. Anyhow I'm sure I jinxed myself and trolls will troll so whatever why did I bother to include that... GAH). Laos? Sure, they'd let you drive it on their roads, but they'd slap a 100% import tariff on it and few would ever buy one.

I wish this was the car I rented in Japan. Instead the rental car place at NRT gave me a pink Daihatsu Mira Es. It was almost impossible to avoid my giant egg head on the roof

I think these would so well in Europe. Shame daihatsu stopped sales here. It was inevitable as since the 2000s copen, nobody here cared about the brand.

Kei car regulations still apply, so dictate that the GR Sport modifications are strictly for looks. No mechanical changes.
