Jomez, you've left an impact on my 8 year old son! We were out yesterday afternoon doing some fieldwork. After throwing a bunch of discs, I couldn't remember where my Mako3 landed. I asked my son if he knew where it went. He made a beeline straight to the disc. I was super impressed and asked him how he knew where it landed. No joke, he said: "I did a follow-flight in my mind." :)

I have to say that the overall putting on this front 9 was excellent for the whole card. So good I can't even pick out one player that stands out over the others. But that second shot by Eagle on hole 9.... My God! Amazing!

Great commentary. I used to think that Big Jerm and Nate S were the only commentators I'd enjoy. Color me surprised when I absolutely love to listen to Paul and Nate P as well.

Yes! I've been staying off social media all weekend for this! I was wondering what the heck happened to Saturday's coverage until I heard about the 🌩 while watching the FPO coverage 😣 Oh well, I guess we are lucky the whole thing wasn't cancelled... Thanks for amazing coverage! 👍

I mean, playing like this, Eagle is as much as a contender as anyone else. It's been incredible watching him consistently climb the ranks these years and he is now just a champ without a title. This has got to be his year, and I don't care what your name is you better beware. How awesome is it to watch someone do the thing they were meant to do. Fate and hard work is paying off for Eagle.

Probably my favorite 9 I’ve ever watched honestly. Between the players going out there and lighting the course on fire and the commentators having such depth of insight into the game it just made this 9 and the tournament as a whole 🔥🔥🔥

17:38. No Uli. That is not why they call it a flip-up to hyzer. "Flip" refers to the angular orientation of the disc attempting to "turn". So a hyzer flip means that the disc is released on hyzer, and the left edge of the disc rises towards a flat orientation (for RHBH) due to the disc's understable turn characteristics. It has nothing to do with the elevation or vertical lift of the shot.

Its a made up disc golf word. Like a lot of the vernacular. As far as i know it was popularized by Billy Crump, who is the OG of disc golf commentary

now that the season is well under way I'm trying to figure out why jomez is giving us field score updates after 8 holes rather than 9 - is it just because people might stop the video after the 9th hole coverage before the wrap-up? if so, why not give us the field updates to start the back side coverage? just wondering

So why did they play 9 holes counted as a round for the FPO? Seems kinda odd, just wondering. It looks like the masters counted 3 holes added to the total. Not complaining, just trying to understand the the thought...get in as many holes as possible? Just looks odd with 3 divisions playing a different amount of holes completed. Also GG almost ace was truly epic!!! Great golf to watch.

I feel like this commentary team talked about technical details too much and ignored some of the play. There were a lot of incredible shots I noticed that weren’t even recognized due to the ongoing technicality talk. Just nitpicking though, overall great coverage as usual.
