I'm looking to do the same thing to my 2019 frontier. I have a few questions, 1st do your wheels touch/scrub against the body of the truck when turning the wheel all the way in one direction or the other. 2nd did you have to buy the speedometer calibater to adjust your speedometer speed.
Hi, I’m writting you From México, I’m about to Buy this lift kit and I would like to know how is the ride with it?, how does it feel?. Does the ride changes to much? Or is the same?. Thanks
I notice they say you need 18” wheels with a 5” backspace. You see any reason you can’t run the stock wheels and 1.5” wheel spacers? The fabtech lift is basically the same and I see people running the stock wheels with 1.5 spacers. Thanks
Dod you have any issues with the front install? I didnt see another video. It it working good? No alignment issues? I just bought the rc 6” kit for my 2016 frontier with the lifted struts. I have the pro4x also. Just wondering about issues or things to look for when i do the front, thank in advance for any info
No issues at all, 30,000 miles since I install kit. Take your time and remember once you cut the cross member there is no going back. Make things look professional.
Thinking of doing this to my pro 4x too. I’m not savvy with cars, but am kind of handy. I also only have normal jacks and jack stands, would you say it’s possible for a nooby with no mechanic grade equipment to put the lift on?
I say "NO" you have cutting to do to the cross member and if you mess it up, there is no going back. I had air impacts so it made taking it apart and back together alot easier, Alot of wrench turning if all you have are hand tools. although it can be done on jack stands but once you finish putting the lift kit on you have jack it up pretty high to get tires on. Based on what your telling me I don't think with your knowledge you should attempt this.
Did you have to trim for the 32's??? nice aggressive look and nice wheels too. I just lifted my 4x2 3"front 2" back and I'm thinking the same thing, I wanna add 33's or 32's.
I have a question for you .I just bought a new nissan frontier pro 4 2020 .I want to put the same life as u put in your awesome little beast .The question is any trouble with the upper control arms hitting on the coil bucket .they said it would not work .U provide them wrong .
I know this video is old but hoping you respond Just picked up a 2012 pro 4x as everyone here has mention already rc claims it won’t fit this model. How is it holding up I plan on going with their struts did you have to get camber bolts thank you for the info !
Hey, I got a question. I’m going to run a rc 6”lift on my frontier but I am going to run the 18”inch stock wheels. Just wondering will I need a spacers so that it doesn’t touch the tierod?
My truck came with 16 inch. so I had to buy 18 inch rims. All you can do is install the lift kit and hope your backspacing and offset on the stock rim will work. Have a back up plan encase they don't fit. I forgot the offset but backspacing is 5 inches.
I just lifted mine to the same height with the same tires. I also cut the mud flaps off the front. Did you experience any rubbing after you installed your kit?
I should have went for a frontier instead of my Tacoma. It's so uncomfortable. I've driven the frontier before definitely better the only negative part is the turning radius. But I rather deal with that than my Tacoma.
I am waiting on the lift and wheels and tires to come to do this as well. What brand of running boards did you buy and could you give a brief description, 4in 5in or 6in wide? Could you drop a link if you are able? Really appreciate the info!
I Used the 6 inch spacer in the front which bolts to the top of the strut and in the back I used the 6 inch block which is all in the lift kit, new rear shocks come in lift kit also stock rear shocks will not work. Hope that answers your question.
i have these in my frontier www.carid.com/spyder/2009-nissan-frontier-headlights/spyder-factory-style-headlights-2384693579.html?relationshipId=3805637306&childId=907230071&offermpnid=4515155780&view=519146
@@pissedoffveteran7965 They don't come with LED's in them but you can but some for it. Im plannign on buying some once the covid calms down a bit. The little bit of black trim in the light housing makes it pop.
Question I have 2010 Nissan Titan pro4x and I want buy RC , my question is you think I can install by my self the lift in my driveway? I do almost all the repairs on my car . Thanks
I work at a garage so I have access to a lift and air tools. It can be done but there is cutting metal involved so just remember "ONCE YOU CUT THERE IS NO GOING BACK" so measure your cuts twice and cut once. Going to be a pain in the ass on your back in your driveway. but if your determined and take your time it can be done. Would I do it in my driveway "NO".
@@watchmanexpert Go to roughcountry.com pick out the 6 inch lift for your 2010 Titan, once that opens click on notes, then in the notes you will see instructions, open instructions then READ. Don't fuck it up. Measure twice cut once.
I still have the original 16 inch spare tire mounted under the truck, realistically I should buy another tire and rim but the new tires have over an inch of tread so I'm not to concerned yet about getting a flat.
@@pissedoffveteran7965 gotcha. really digging your setup. I had a 07 Frontier years ago and man do I miss it. I'm thinking about buying an older 15 or 16 and putting a 6in kit similar to your setup.
@@pissedoffveteran7965 thats what I figured. I'm running 275/65 as well. I'm thinking of throwing on a 2in body lift on my truck that I have the 6in RC lift on. So I can put 285/75's on. What do you think? Would love some input/advice🤙🏼
I have a question for you I have the six inch rough country going in on the 22nd of april .the question is they say It might have axle issue that may break the axle .is that true I am not a mechanic .
I put over 5000 street miles on my truck since I lifted it. Notice I said street miles, the truck has never been I guess I'll call it 4-wheeling. These are the same axles used on the SV model so I don't know why they would say that.
Looks like 3 inches lift kit. Probably because the tires But looking good. So what the story with the handicap plate? Are you going to change it? If u can climb 🧗♀️ into that truck YOU ARE NOT A HANDICAP
Thanks for the comments, that is a "Disabled Veteran" Handicapped plate. Truck is a little difficult to get in but i manage. Whatever you want to believe. I fought 3 wars so you would have the right to judge me.
Cool truck! I have an air bag suspension already installed on the rear for towing... thinking of doing a lift kit also. Do you think this would work with air bags?
Why do people buy a 6" kit when you can easily run 285's with 2" of lift? That wheel well gap looks like something for the diesel crowd! You need 35's!
@@pissedoffveteran7965 Get a Mans truck that truck is more for a woman. I have a truck, a Mans truck, a nissan titan. It could most likely drive over that mini truck. But hey, to each their own.
