I bought a 2019 Nissan Rouge SV a couple weeks ago. I’m very happy with it. It does exactly what I need it to do. Which is drive me to work safely and comfortably. It does that perfectly.
Good evening guys! We've got 4 of these vehicles at work which are 2017. I can tell the big 2 year difference because these new ones have so many more features. My favorite feature is the panoramic moon roof which I'm actually surprised that the new Rogue has. Hope you two enjoy the rest of your weekend! 😎
I have a 13 and did consider purchasing a newer used one to replace it. I have 176k on mine with no transmission issues at all. Yes these transmissions may suck but it is all in how you drive these cars. Yes they are underpowered, I totally agree. One reason is the transmission, the cvt isn't made for high hp / torque engines. You will have more issues with the transmission if you drive it more aggressively than its designed for.
You’re lucky, I have a 12 and I had to have the transmission repaired once, a year later I had to get it replaced, and now something is wrong with it again. I’m getting rid of it the next week or so.
I've got a 2019 SV - Just did a four day 1800 mile trip, and it is fantastic at 85 mph (Idaho) feeling calm and collected, quiet (enough), and steady in cross wind. Very comfortable after 10 hours in the car, and I have no complaints. Decent mpg - and more room than we needed for four adults.
i leased a 2018 midnight edition SV in white. nothing but good things to say about my rogue. engine has good pickup when i need it but is great on gas, especially in eco mode.
Back in February of this year. I rented a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL. This SL was not fully loaded like this one in the video. When you think of the SL, you think it's fully loaded right? Wrong. How I knew it wasn't fully loaded it didn't have a Panoramic Roof. But overall, the Rogue was an awesome vehicle. I went to Tennessee and back a 14 hr round trip. Yes, I would buy a Rogue. This is on the top of my list.
@@bikes7777 I'm a "Moron" for buying a Nissan Rogue or just considering looking into buying one. Many, Many, Many, Hundreds of Thousands of People Who Have Bought a Nissan Rogue are "Morons" Too. WE'RE ALL MORONS. NISSAN ARE MORONS TOO FOR MAKING THEM. Bottom Line, People Are Still Gonna Buy Them Don't Matter What You Think About It or How You Feel About It. "WE'RE ALL MORONS"
Mine has 40K miles and I have few complaints. The main complaint is that the roof rack is useless, as it will dent the roof if you put anything up there heavier than a loaf of bread.
They won't last as long as Toyota or Honda! The CVT transmissions they use are JATCO which have had problems with the push belts breaking! Scotty Kilmer will tell you the same.
I’ve had a Rogue for 8 years. And if you’re strapped for cash, honestly I suggest poking somewhere else. If you’re perfectly Fine money wise, if you want it, go for it. I wouldn’t suggest it if you’re looking to keep it long term though. Down the line rogues will cause you to hit your pocket book a lot.
I bought my 2019 SV Rogue, in pearl white with almond just as shown on this video, what a great SUV, just love it!! Thinking maybe modest light gold straight pin-stripes on sides.
Great video guys!!! I love the 2019 Nissan Rogue it's very nice!!! What happened to the test drive? Lol! How are the loogies coming? Lol! I can't wait for y'all next video.
I have a 2019 Rogue and the touch screen menu states that the SXM subscription has expired, it did, but I renewed it and it still says that on the screen, is there a way to clear that? Also, how do I stop my car from sending texts on my behalf? I have had the car for 4.5 months and so far I love it!
I purchased the 2019 Rogue and happy with it. I have a question though. I had my keys Inside my apartment and wanted to get something from my truck. I touched the button on the door of the trunk and the door opened without problems. My only question is, Can my vehicle get broken into and how do I prevent this? It makes me scared to travel distances from home.
My grandma this weekend, is getting a gray 2019 Nissan Rogue SL not sure if it’s an AWD but it’s probably has it. She is getting the gun metal gray and it’s the top of the line SL. She leased a 2016 Ford Fusion SE in ruby red with the technology SE package. That had tinted windows and a few things the dealer did for her. Her lease is up in 2 months and that’s when she has to return it. Has 2 payments left so she will get rid of it by May. She will have her Nissan Rogue and her Ford Fusion at her house lol. My uncle is a finance manager for all the dealerships basically for at least Nissan and or honda. My grandma is going home with a fully loaded SUV and this one is a lease but she already likes it more than her red Fusion. She’s wanted an SUV for so long but she’s getting one now and uncle got a great deal and got all the paper work done with my grandpa so it’s for sure that they are going to get it. She’s more happier that it has all these options on it and she’s never had a fully loaded car and shes worried that it’s going to have to much options to where she is going to forget how to figure everything out. She deserves it though, my grandparents have been a ford family for the longest time, but my grandma wanted something different for once.
I’ve had a rouge for the last 8 years. While in the beginning it starts as a great car, it quickly becomes tiresome after 3 years. Endless transmission problems, endless axel problems, and airbag problems. Added on to the fact if you drive in south Florida for some reason rogues are really hard on tires. You’ll either have to buy 2-4 tires every 12-15 months sometimes even earlier if you’re lucky. If You’re looking for a starter car for a kid, this is honestly great, it’s not meant to be kept for a long time though.
Why get a rogue when a murano weighs only 500lbs more and nearly doubles the hp? The best thing about the rogue is thenmpg. The murano is only5 mpg less combined with a v6 and AWD. So the murano wins in this comparison murano feels more nimble and fast although it is the larger of the two. The rogue is nice especially with that 3rd row. But power mewns a lot to meespecially with a CVT holding you back!
Unfortunately, it is on those horrendous CVT transmissions! Jatco builds them all for Nissan/Infiniti, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and even Mazda! My dad and I drive Lexus which all have around 250000 miles on them and the transmissions run smooth! Aisin is owned by Toyota and they make some of the best automatic transmissions in the world! FCA is even using them in their Jeeps and Chrysler vehicles! Scotty Kilmer will tell you the same.
Just by looking at this and the new 2019 rav4, Rav4 is going to destroy this car. Never really understood why the rogue was such a good selling car. I think it's because it's cheaper than the rav4 and cr-v mostly.
Yes. NISSAN gives lots of incentives that brings the cost of the Rouge down substantially. But the reliability is just as good as both Toyota & Honda. I owned Nissan's since 2005 and they never let me down.
John L my family has had Nissans since the 90s and you’ll see old Nissans still driving today. They are just as reliable. Maybe quality materials and fit and finish is not as refined as Honda but they WILL start and go whenever you put that key in.
In the IIHS.org reviews, RAV4 got a poor rating for passenger side safety. I was going to go with one,but if it's not safe for my family, I won't touch it.
Nissan needs to do away with their CVTs. They don’t even make them themselves. They have nothing to loose by switching from crappy JATCo to Aisin, who makes Toyota’s transmissions
@Jay Mac I hate CVT’s. All of them. Just being honest. Im beginning to question the need for more than 8 speeds in conventional transmissions. Shifting up and down as often as they do will contribute to early failure IMO. I have a 6 speed auto, shift manually, and rarely use 6th gear unless on the freeway.
Jay Mac I agree, they should stick with aisin since they wont loose anything at all, might as well engineer a beltless CVT with Toyota, like in the Prius.
@xXBubbleIs AwesoneXx According to this website, it looks like most of the complaints were in the 2009 production. Its not a bad car with the v6, but stay far away from one with a CVT. www.carcomplaints.com/Dodge/Journey/
@@2W3X4YZ5 yeah dodge are very unreliable . Don't know why that guy would even consider a journey . There is Toyota rav4 2019 , Subaru Forrester 2019, and many more reliable vehicles. Maybe he's one of those guys that just buys American cars . Who knows ?
Ne wr buy a nissan..they can't fix a heater box or find a replacement on my 2011 armada platinum. Head office won't help now a one time$72k vehicle is worthless.
Jesus loves you all and is coming soon! ❤️ if you haven’t repented and turned from sin and accepted Jesus as Savior believing He died and rose again for you, today is perfect and scripture says that today is the day of salvation!!
Rosita Alvarado sadly I can confirm this 🤦♂️ Had it repaired once. Had it replaced last year. And now something is wrong with it yet again. I’m trading it in, in the next week or so
The screen interface and look of it really looks like shit (that digital clock wtf lol). The only thing good about this interior are the seats and the steering wheel (although its not four spoke). Nissan needs to update this like yesterday. Disappointing that it wasn't updated for 2019.
wow, would you recommend the RAV-4 or the FORD Escape over the ROGUE? I have not heard good things about the NISSAN ROGUE or any NISSAN's for that matter.
