Man, you are so underrated! Your reviews are amazing and have improved over time! I like that you go over every detail and talk about how it drives, handles. Great tour!
I have a 2014, no major problems at 97k miles, gets me where I want to go.. planning on getting another. When I drive out of town I always rent . I just want a car to get from point A to point B. Sentra works for me
I owned a 2013 nissan sentra for 8 years. No trouble with it. Almost 100 000km. No rust. Now i have a 2019 and still love it. Low gas cost on high way and even in town. I can say my 2013 was harder to warm up during winter compared to the 2019. Love the heating seat and lot of space in the trunk. I dont hear the motor when going 100km/hr, no vibrations at the feet compared to a Hyundai i tried (new, same year). Sunroof is working smoothly. Decent car for the price. As of the AC, cant go lower than 18°C, no lower temperature. Sometimes, its too hot in summer day. Would prefer a Lo tempeture mode. Only thing like he said about the passenger seat, nothing to put the seat a lil lower. Im not that tall 5'6 and im kinda too high for looking in front. If they could change that and the AC lower temperature. Easy to install a car seat. Very pleased with my 2nd Sentra. Only "Eco" button, no "sport" like the 2013, but the "normal" power in a 2013 is different than in a 2019 (more eco when car is starting to move) and in a 2021 (more sporting when the car is starting to move). Never used much the sport button in 2013, sometimes to pass on the highway in hills.
The only thing you missed was the arm rest in middle does slide back and forth about 2 inches i own the 2018 overall good car ive had about 18 months used..if you have not owned a car with this hydrostatic transmission id say it takes some getting use to...im not a fan of that transmission you cant just put in gear and go with the gas...you have to pause then push gas or it jerks...and i dont like that its recommended every 30 to 50 thousand Miles you gotta pay a mechanic lots of money to change the transmission fluid or you will notice slight slippage...its not terribly uncomfortable im a bigger lady but it has been making my side hurt after a couple hours riding...so overall tho its a pretty good little car ive not had any problems so far and its very good on gas...hard to know what to buy these days...i have a big suggestion if your going to buy a car rent one like it first and drive for a week it will benefit you in the long run..good luck hope my comment also helped.
What are your thoughts on the cvt transmission? Notice anything different than a normal automatic transmission? I gotta be honest. The only thing that's holding me back from buying any used or new car is the cvt transmission. I don't like that they take something that is perfectly OK like a 6 speed trans and start to replace it with cvt transmissions. From what I understand this car specifically gets like 38 highway miles per gallon. Pretty good review on the car. Thanks
Did you know you can pull the center arm rest ?? I though my niece has broken it and turns out it pulls so I can rest my arm 🤣🤣 lol When I clean my Sentra I love to sit in the back (since I’m always driving) For me it’s a nice car I love it Since it’s only me ...
Anyone having problems with the mic not working? Can someone help me. My phone connects easily but when I call someone the mic doesn't work & no one can hear me.
Why the heck do I have a Nissan Sentra 2019 i just got from a dealer but looks NOTHING like this car??? I’m so confused. Mine is not a push start car and the ac buttons are different.. doesn’t have an arm rest in the middle from the back seats either
yeah wish i had that one too bad the one I use to have was a 2017 no touch screen or anything about that fuel it sucks gas fast Idk about that 39mpg doesn't seem likes true cause when I use to have it I always refueled before it gets past half a tank or after if you don't fill it up before then idk what was going but that gas gauge will go down quickly and pretty soon you will see that low fuel light hated it but the audio is nice interior very nice too bad the transmissions are terrible!!!!
Sorry about that. And you're right, I should have covered it. Both are standard on this model and work fine. I'll try to remember to include a discussion of both next time.
Not sure what you decided but his comment about the Chevy cruse is correct I owned a Chevy Cruze and had nothing but problems from it. I’ve heard that they always have issues
@Ugh I actually have to take back my comment from before. New nissans are actually notoriously shit and dont last long because nissan uses very bad CVT transmissions. If the price is right then go ahead but a new nissan probably wont last you more than 100k miles before you need the transmission replaced. For the record I have a honda with 236,000 miles and the transmission is only just starting to go bad
I’m not gonna lie when I got a 2019 Nissan Sentra sv, I think it’s decent I’m not gonna lie my 2012 Hyundai Elantra had both hold more gas in the tank and better gas mileage, even on a cold start up without any warm up the AC would be always on point even on the hottest days. The main reason for the comment that I was going to talk about it took me the longest time to find out how I was save a preselected radio station, after 4 months of owning it by accident.
i have this question too, do you know where i would have this put in? and are you talking about between the speedometer and odometer. i want it to show my mph
