I think it will be wrong for anyone to say the programme is outmoded and it can't help to solve problems in Ghana. Remember this is the foundation stage of science and maths. Practical aspects are learnt at the higher levels. This stage is preparing them for the higher levels. You cannot expect SHS students to be doing professional activities at this stage. Assuming the contestants pursue their careers, there would become Doctors, Engineers and the likes. To me , the programme is good and should be encouraged. This programme has shown how brilliant Ghanaian children are and when given the chance, the facilities, and the opportunity, they can help solve the problems in the country. It is my wish that the Government of Ghana invest more in this programme.
