I test drove one today and I might say it's better than I expected. I currently drive VW golf sportwagen so obviously I'm into wagon or wagonisque type of vehicle. It's steering is light and the interior is much better than the brand new Japanese cars. I think the Europeans are better interior designers than the rest. The only low down for me is there's no strut in the hood. Aside from that I think it's worth it's price esp when buy it used.

What are the standard seats like in the gt line? Is the upgrade worth 1100?

The standard seats are still good. I'm not sure whether I'd spend the extra money on the optional ones myself, but there's no denying they're really nice. It is a lot of money though, and the rest of the interior is still super impressive.
